Dinner at AK...

On our Jan. trip, we have one full day at AK and will do Tusker House breakfast and Boma dinner

We are looking at doing a late afternoon/evening on their EMH night and would have dinner in the park - Would you eat at Yak & Yeti or Tusker House?

We have Boma on the list and if we do Tusker are they too similar? Would you consider Tusker for dinner instead of Boma and then going somewhere else for dinner on our all day AK day?

Any input would be great!!! Thanks

I've heard Yak n' Yeti is really good for CS lunch and I'm not sure how it is for dinner. I wouldn't get rid of the Boma dinner, so it is up to you but I'd say Yak n' Yeti.

I just want to make sure you are aware that Boma is not in AK, it's at the Lodge, so if that makes a difference you'd probably want to stick with Yak n Yeti or Tusker house.
If you are aware, and you are still undecided, I'd always vote for Boma! It's our favorite TS anywhere on property! We did try the Yak n Yeti and we like it there.. but it wasn't great.
Tusker house is great too.. if it's that or YnY, Tusker house wins

Ok.. I re-read your post.. you're doing Boma, but undecided about YnY and Tusker. I don't think Tusker house and Boma are that much alike. Maybe because we've been to Boma so many times it's very similar to me, and we'd only been to Tusker house once (this last trip) and I didn't think "hey this is like Boma". We did enjoy it and plan on going again next trip.. and back to Boma too.

Yak & Yeti ate there in April and going back in Aug. We loved it

boma and tusker house are simular... yak & Yeti when we ate there the food was excellent... the server was awful. As I understand it from a very reliable source, service has improved.

We ate at Yak and Yeti two weeks ago. It was one of our favorite meals of the entire trip! We had the tempura shrimp, shrimp lo mein, and the mahi. All of it was very, very good. Oh...and the cream cheese wontons for dessert......to die for!!
