Dinner at AK or AKL....

Do any of these places offer dinner overlooking the Savannah?

I'm pretty sure there aren't any restaurants overlooking a savannah in AK since the only real savannah there is the safari ride and no restaurants that I know of really back up to it. At AKL, the restaurants don't overlook the savannahs there either, but they do have viewing areas throughout the resorts that you can use before or after your meal. That's about as close as you'll get though.

Even though you can't see animals while dining at Boma, you can still see part of the savannah. It is a great buffet. Jiko is excellent if you would like to relax and order off their extensive menu. I highly recomend both.

Though none offer a view of the savannah, I would recommend either restaurant at AKL. Just do like we do - make your p/s, get there several hours early and take time to relax and enjoy exploring the resort, or just sitting by the fire pit.

We have found that we need to allow four hours minimum - two for the meal, and the other two for the resort itself.
