I am considering making a reservation for the Wishes Desert Party for our December vacation, but had a few questions. I already have made a reservation for dinner at 5:45 at Kona the night I was thinking about the desert party. Is there a set time for all who have reserved the party to arrive? How much time before the actual fireworks? I didn't know if we would have time for both.

You can arrive 1 hour prior to the fireworks to enjoy the desserts, get your photopass pictures etc..

You probabaly wouldn't have time for both. I was only going to do it if we went to lunch somewhere and then had a light dinner because i wanted to eat as many desserts as possible. However, it was all booked up when I called. Boo hoo! Can you switch Kona to lunch?

We are doing almost the same thing. We have a 5:15 dinner at Kona and a 9:00 dessert party (Wishes at 10). It is the only night I can work Kona in, so we are going to give it a try. I really hope we'll be ready for dessert by then. :flower3:

Thats why I changed my ADRs for the day we are doing the dessert party. We are now eating a late lunch, I think around 3pm at LTT. This way I know I will be able to sample some of those yummy desserts!

We had a 5pm ressie at CP then 9pm for the dessert party. It was a bit much, even though we knew to leave room, it was still pretty heavy.

Just wanted to say thank you for this thread. I had a Wishes Dessert Party booked for our arrival night for 8:20pm. This is also the same night that we have ADRs for Cali Grill at 5:30pm. When I first booked the Dessert Party, I thought that we would have more than enough time to eat at Cali Grill then hop on over to the MK for the Dessert Party. However, I got to thinking after reading this post, we have DxDDP so we will each get an app, entree, AND dessert for our meal, then to go over about an hour later to have more dessert???.....I don't think I or my kids would handle it, plus my DH isn't big on desserts anyways, therefore we were paying for him to not eat and to just watch Wishes. So, I went ahead and cancelled it. Will think about doing this again for another trip. Thanks guys you rock :thumbsup2
