Just an FYI...there are no guarantees at either place that you'll get a table with a good view, even if you book the "right" time (generally about 75-90 minutes before Illuminations.)
At Rose & Crown, you have to take the next available table-which very well could be an inside table since that's where most of the tables are (they won't let you wait for a patio table.)
At La Hacienda, if you're seated in the main room you'll be able to see Illuminations from just about any table, but if you're seated in the side room (about 1/3 of the seats) you will have no view or very, very limited view. We were actually seated at the window in the side room...no view of Lagoon at all so could not see Illuminations except for "brighter" outside the window when fireworks would flare up. Could not actually see the fireworks, though.
