Hello!! We are in need of some help! :) Theirs 4 of us going to Disney March 14!!! We are all 23 and were wondering if there are any good dinner and shows. Maybe murder mystery, a band or something? We are staying At POR. so something inside the great big world of Disney is what we are looking for. Also any in put in good places to dine are welcome! Thank you in advance for all of you help!:)

Disney has two dinner shows...the Hoop Dee Doo Revue at Fort Wilderness and the Spirit of Aloha luau at the Pooynesian Resort. Both are good, but my choice for your group would be to have dinner at Wolfgang Puck Cafe followed by a performance of Cirque du Soleil's La Nouba. Both are at Downtown Disney Westside. My second choice for dinner would be House of Blues, also at DtD Westside, followed by La Nouba.

I went with a group of 10 22-24 year olds to Hoop Dee Doo Revue. The guys loved the all you care to eat chicken, ribs, beans, cornbread, and mashed potatoes... oh and don't forget the draft budlight... the girls enjoyed the cheap wine and draft budlight as well... the show is cheesy but we had so much fun. We'll probably only do it once with a group like that, but with a family we could do it over and over.

I suggest Hoop Dee Doo as well, especially if you are on a budget...all you can eat and drink plus a cheesy fun show to sing along with. Fun. But, if you want a more elegant night and can afford a bit more, I agree with a PP...Dinner and then La Nouba. It is wonderful. You can have your picks of dinners....tons of places at DTD.

Our group of late 20's & early 30's really enjoyed the Spirit of Aloha dinner at the Polynesian. The unlimited beer & wine was a nice perk, plus we all really enjoyed the food (ribs, roasted chicken, fried rice, veggies, salad, pineapple bread, fresh pineapple, & chocolate mousse dessert). Everyone also thought that the show was fun (especially the different styles of hula dancing & the fire dancer). We did tier 2 & had excellent seats. (I was also happy that gratuity was included b/c I know that DH & I always give a hearty tip, but you're never sure about the others in your group.)

Does anybody know about much much it is? and do i have to call to book? i can't seem to find the spirit of aloha online!! i see the hoop dee doo tho! Yes HDDR has free beer and sangria but also remember that the show is only about 90 minutes so don't plan on getting much in that time period of free drinks. Remember your waiter is having to serve their entire section so the free refills are few and far between. Still a great show though!

We did the 8 pm show this past March & preferred the darker nighttime setting. The weather was perfect.
