Dinner 20 mins before closing

Hi everyone,
I just booked an ADR for Teppan Edo at Epcot for 8:40PM. If the park closes at 9:00PM how does this work?

The park technically closes at 9 which means they will stop admitting people to shows and rides at that time BUT Illuminations will take at least another 20-30 minutes and some of the stores stay open later than that (Mousegears last time I was there and the camera shop under Spaceship Earth) so you will still have time to eat your meal. It should be served just like any other meal if not a little more 'timely' I dont see your entree's taking a super long time to get fixed or anything b/c the employees will be ready to get shut down for the day. On your way out of the park it should be emptying out if not empty so it may be a good time for some pictures of the attractions lit up with no crowds in them, but you may not be allowed to meander around everywhere pretty must just toward the exit

I have stayed in Bistro with some freinds until 11:05pm one evening when Epcot closed at 9:00. We were not rushed out of the restaurant, but we were accompanied to the gate after we left. We actually left the park about 11:20. Security told us we were the last Guests. The fountain and all lights and music were still on while we were walking through both WS and FW on the way to the gate.

i have an adr for le cellier att 8:55pm so i was worried as well

I love getting to leave Epcot after it closes. We also do the latest meals at Bistro and it's magical to stroll outside afterwards to a lit but empty park.
