Dining???

We need suggestions for places to eat dinner?? We arrive sat, and we are staying at best west we park place inn across from DL. We don't want to spend a fortune. 2 adults and one child (7) thanks!

In downtown Disney the tortilla Joe's taquaria which is next to the regular tortilla joe's restaurant is tasty - just the standard tacos, burritos and I think quesdillas (haven't been there in awhile).

At Anaheim Citywalk I really like Bubba Gump's - it's more expensive but generally not as expensive if you were in the parks or downtown disney.

I'm staying at HoJo's and heard there is a Mimi's Cafe nearby. I joined their email list last week (I picked the Anaheim location as my "favorite") and a few days later got a coupon for buy one meal, get one free.

Some ideas, with different price ranges (since everyone's thought of a "fortune" is different!)....

Mimi's (take a right out of the hotel, and it will be about a 4-5 minute walk, same side of the street)

McDonalds (half a block down or so, on the right side of the hotel)

Cap't Kidds (heard not so good things about this place, in hotel parking lot basically)

IHOP (parking lot of Park Vue, next door on the left of the hotel)

Tony Roma's (about 2-3 hotels down, left from the hotel)

Denny's (right near IHOP and Tony Roma's)

Anaheim Garden Walk is at Harbor and Katella, which has:
Bubba Gump's
Cheesecake Factory
McCormick and Schmick's (spelling?)
California Pizza Kitchen
... some other restaurants I can't remember

Or, Downtown Disney District (cross the street straight in front of the hotel, follow the crowd to the security tents at the Esplanade, then keep going straight, and exit through the opposite security tents) :
Rainforest Café
ESPN Zone (has an arcade upstairs)
Tortilla Joe's
... and some others I can't remember off the top of my head

What ever you do keep away from Captain Kidds it is the worst food I have ever tasted.

If you were thinking of going to Downtown Disney, I would recommend Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen. They're not cheap (basically priced how you would expected a restaurant in Disney to be priced), but they food is very good. For a less expensive alternative, Earl of Sandwich is also very good.

In Downtown Disney, we like:

Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen Express(smaller menu, but cheaper than the Restaurant)

Tortilla Joe's Taqueria(some items are large enough to split, and are nicely priced)

Earl of Sandwich(fair prices, and so yummy!)

For a non park day dinner we like Earl of Sandwich best. The prices are good and I love the Holiday sandwich.
