Dining

Pixie not only was it WAY over priced the service was terrible!!!

Yup, the service was terrible!! LOL

I know!!! IHOP would be a good deal if Mickey and Minnie came by the table so I could tale pictures with them!!!

I don't think it would even be a good deal then! LOL

Yeah, Captain Kidds is actually a chain (well, at least it has more than one location), and if the one near DL is anything like the one I've eaten at in Florida, BLECCCCH. It's perfect if you're looking for unrecognizable deep-fried items, but since I don't know many people that are, I'd say stay away lol!

It's a CHAIN???? How in the world does a chain like THAT even exist?? I've never seen another one, there's just no way it would survive anywhere else. I think the business they get is from people who just don't know any better, that's why we went there, we just didn't know how bad it was truly going to be. It was so gross, I had a salad, the only thing I could eat was the cheese and croutons off the top! LOL I think I ate the onions and maybe the grape tomatoes too but the lettuce and cucumbers were nasty and wilted.....yuk! The kids liked their meals but they had chicken nuggets and fries. LOL DBF had the buffet, he found a few things that were OK to eat so I snagged from his plate, but I did leave still hungry, just made it so we had to go into the park and get me ice cream. ;)

Ahhh... Captain Kidds.

My son nicknamed it "Captain Cruds" and DH decided their motto was "Dead Men Tell No Tales".

Yup. Pretty bad.

We ate their 2 years ago. DH and DS love a good buffet. The buffet at Captain Kidds was not a "good buffet", LOL. I ordered a BLT sandwich from the menu, and I got the better deal. The sandwich was delicious.

However, we will not be back there.

We normally eat at IHOP or Dennys once, and McDonalds once. We do a lot of snacking at DL (my son loves fruit!).

This year, however, I think we will head over to the Gardenwalk to eat at The Cheesecake Factory. My son really wants to try their food, as we do not have one locally.
