Hi,
I just booked the Swan at the teacher rate of 155$ a night for August. Can I take advantage of Disney's dining special with the ticket booking, or must I stay at a "Disney Resort"? Swan and Dolphin are not considered Disney am I right?

You missed out on the Free Dining, you had to book by June 25. The Swan and Dolphine are not owned by Disney, but they have bus transportation to all the parks.

Sorry, I misinformed, I did reserve before then, but the swan operator told me she did not know about the free dining. My reservation still stands at 155$ a night, but I wondered if I could get the free dining. I think it would be a better plan to stay at a dis resort and get the dining, as I am travelling with my 15 year old son who eats a lot.

Nope. Even if you had booked by the 25th, Swan and Dolphin are not owned and operated by Disney, so they didn't qualify for the free dining promotion.
