Well, I have a short attention span and can't write my trip report all at once, so here's another installment of the saga of our recent BWV/F&W trip.
We're pretty budget minded, and so we DON'T do the dining plan. I'm not blasting the plan, we just wouldn't eat all that food.
I was concerned that food quality would be down, or menus bland, or we wouldn't be able to eat at all with all the restaurants full of plan people, BUT....we ate at Chef's d'France, Spoodles, Jiko, Yachtsman, and Narcoosee's and enjoyed every bite. Mind you we couldn't get in to any of these restaurants between 6:30-8:30 except for the Yachtsman, so we had to work around that and eat later most nights.
We still spent less in total forfood and the requisite shirts and cookbooks and mugs than we would've just for food with the dining plan. There were lots of places we couldn't eat at because they were booked solid, but the food quality was still what we've come to expect...wonderful.
