Dining without reservations??

Can I ask why you didn't make ADR's? Not flamming...just curious if this was a last minute decision or something. In the future I would stronly suggest ADR's for any TS meal during even slower times of the year!

I did make ADRs at CP and Chef mickey -- but now that friends ( newbies) are coming - they want to do other stuff and nothing is left . I really wanted to do WC - no luck ! I had ADR at Coral Reef - and changed my mind - when I called back to cancel - she had booked us on the wrong date !! I was not aware that our trip fell on soap week either ....we booked this particular week ( back in March) when Disney sent out " special week " rates . We booked thinking it would be a slower time - just before Thanksgiving . ( NOV 11th-16th) haha !! good luck to us !!

Maybe I can help you. I have a couple of ressies I can part with. How many are in your party? I have 1900 parkfare on the 14th- 10:20 am, Akershus 2:25 lunch on the 12th. What characters are you looking for?

We went in July, and because I didn't want to be "trapped" to a schedule (I wanted to be flexable from day to day, after all this was vacation) Every morning after we were sure which park we would be at, we went to the service desk and make reservations from the hotel before we left to the parks. We had to take some off times once in a while, but it worked out very well and we were able to enjoy a differant resturant every day....I can't say that was the best approach, but it worked for us and we will probably do it this way on our next trip to the world.
