Dining with people who are not on dining plan?

If you are eating with people for a TS meal and they are not on the dining plan:

Can you tell the waiter to charge all of the expensive app, entree, desert to dining plan TS credit? And pay OOP for the remainder?

Or are they really strict about this and really goes by only what you eat/order will be counted towards TS credit?

If I have 3 people on dining plan, and 2 not... And we order 3 appetizers and 3 deserts... Is it "ok" for the other 2 people to share??

Not trying to bend the rules but just wondering in case I end up having this situation and want to make the most out of our plan. I am really trying to get a buffet ADR for the meal in question so I won't have to deal with this at all but no luck on ADR so far so wondering what happens if we settled on non buffet TS meal instead

The Dining Plan pdf clearly states that you cannot use it to purchase meals for people who aren't on the dining plan.

You can point out when you order exactly which meals you want to charge to the dining plan and which you want to pay cash for, as long as you don't use your dining plan to pay for more meals than you have people listed on your key card.

And if you have five people and only three on the dining plan, you are technically not supposed to be feeding all five on three dining plan meals. This is like using your dining plan to buy meals for them. However, if all you want to do is share a bite of your appetizers and desserts with your guests, who will be purchasing their own entrees (remember you only get appetizers on the deluxe dining plan) that should not be a problem.
