We are going to food and wine in October without our kids. We've been to Disney many times but we are trying to figure out where to dine that's new for us and maybe not as kid friendly as usual.
Open to ideas. Thanks!

We are doing the same - I'd suggest the Tutto Gusto wine cellar. They also have an after hours small plate/wine tasting that we are doing as well (and you can make reservations for). Have you thought about Party for the Senses? We're going to that 10/25. Teppan Edo and Tutto Italia are both really nice meals that people with kids often skip. Eating on the porch at Tutto Italia can be very romantic.

This October? You may well be limited in what is available at this point. ADR's open 6 months in advance.
I agree with Tutto Gusto. They don't take ADR's so it is walk ups. Same for Spice Road Table in Morrocco. I would have recommended Le Cellier, but I don't think you will find availability now. I like Rose & Crown, but it too may not be available.
Flying Fish at the Boardwalk is very good as well.
Good Luck

Toyko Dining is one of our favs at Epcot. There normally aren't that many children in there, even though they get the most adorable monorail plate!

I second (third?) all the options mentioned above. I would add the bar at The Wave at the Contemporary. Quiet, out of the way, no kids, interesting menu, and don't need an ADR. Also, Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani. Out of the way, a little exotic, etc. It's a nice choice for a resort lunch and you can probably get in without an ADR.

We've been without kids for 13 years now and have enjoyed the Food and Wine Festival a couple of times. My suggestion? Don't book any table service restaurants. Just enjoy the Festival and the offerings. Pick and choose as you want and enjoy.

We went one year and met my father and stepmother they wanted to have lunch at Rainforest Cafe so we said OK. Then they left for their sort trip back home and we couldn't do anything at the Festival.

You could just plan some time for table service towards the end of your visit and then cancel if you have a change in plans.

#1 for us is Cali Grill, with Bluezoo as a #1 on certain trips. Brown Derby is also nice. DH and I loved an early ADR at Trail's End then boating it over to MK. It was a small adventure getting there which made it a lot of fun.

This year our new ones are Flying Fish and Boatwrights--then over to YeeHa Bob, who will be a new show for us.

We're also taking our first kidless trip in October for F&W (much to the disappointment of said kids!). We got tickets to the Party for the Senses on one night and are going to California Grill and Citricos the other two nights. We debated whether to just spend our dinner times getting more things at F&W but didn't want to lose the opportunity to eat at nice places without the kids....you know, like on a real date! I suspect we'll be order a bit lighter at the restaurants that we might have without having grazed around Epcot throughout the afternoon, but if it turns out to be just an appetizer and a beverage, then that's great, too.

As for other places that might be low on kids, you might consider Jiko or Sanaa over at AKL, as they have menus that while not crazy might also be less appealing to young kids on the average day. I have also become partial to the Epcot resorts area, which has great restaurant choices like Il Mulino (an absolute favorite of mine), Yachtsman, Bluezoo, Shula's or Kimonos (sushi). Haven't hit them all quite yet, but that whole Boardwalk area can make for a fun night and is obviously just right out the back door of Epcot if you're already spending a lot of time there for F&W.
