Dining with an Imagineer

Hi:

I read in the latest All Ears that Disney has cancelled lunch with an imagineer. Has anyone else heard anything about this? I hope it's not true because we were looking forward to having lunch with an Imagineer in December.

Any help will be appreciated,

For all you people who have not done this but are thinking of doing it, DO IT !! We did Lunch in Aug., and it was awesome. If they don't have lunch any longer, we will definitely do dinner. Every trip ! We were 4, me DW, DS 16, DD 11 and we all loved it. DS wants to be an Imagineer !! Good luck !!

Does anyone have info on this? We were planning to do this in December and now I'm worried it won't happen.

I called Disney Dining and got a helpful CM who looked into it for me. The program is not canceled.

For lunch, she said she has select dates only, and her computer showed them through August. I wish they had dates through December so I could change my plans accordingly.

For dinner, her computer showed that it happens only every other Thursday at 5:30. I hope that's not true, as the only Thursday I have during my trip will be spent at MVMCP.

Unless I get lucky with the lunch during my trip, it looks like I most likely won't get to dine with an Imagineer.

You can book 60 days out, so that might be why she only had dates showing through August. I would just call back in a few months and see what they say.

Gah! I can't believe how tired I am today. When she told me she only had dates through August, I was thinking it's still May and August is 3 months away.

The plan to make myself tired today so I can get to sleep early and wake up at 4am seems to be working!

It is a book 60 days out event. Limited to 8 or 10 so it may be wise to wake up at 4....I wake up at 5 in August.
Edit: Oooops it was didnt look up one.
