I have been waiting for the 30 day mark to make a reservation for Dining with an Imagineer at Brown Derby in late July. Just today I called to change an ADR and I inquired about the days of the week for DWAI so I'd know when to call back. She said it was offered M-W-F at 11:30 AM but that Friday 7/29 was already sold out. I asked how that could be, and she replied that the bookings were opened 60 days before, not 30. Now it looks like we're not doing this, since it doesn't fit with our plans for the M or W of that week.
I'm bummed that it changed without notice.
This was one of the highlights of the trip last summer. DH and DS were supposed to go last July, but DH got sick during the trip (turned out to be Lyme disease!) and I filled in for him (got to wear his specially made nametag and everything) to take DS. This time he was going to get to go.
Oh well, there's always next year. Or there may be a cancellation. This is such a great experience, I hope they don't do away with it.
So..........if you were planning on doing DWAE, try to book it 60 days out!
