Dining with 2 year old ?

I am hoping I will get better response in the Families section of the boards. We will be in Disney next month with our soon to be 3 year old. He will turn 3 in a few weeks from our trip. He is a big eater and of course we cannot get the dining plan for him. Has anyone had any experience/success using TS dining credits for a toddler (not on the plan)? I know they are techinically "not transferable". We want to use up all our credits from the other two children before we start paying oop. Buffets are not a problem because he can eat off our plate and we can get more, but at the plated meals, he will not be satisfied with "eating off our plate". Just seeing what others have done for big 2 year old eaters and DDP. Any experience?

well you cant order more than whats on your cards.. so if it says 2 adults 2 children.. you cant use credits for 3 children. I would just pay OOP for his meals.

You could always even get a side dish of something instead of whole meal.

What I did last year was got a ticket for my 3yo (she turned 3 the day after we go there but we checked in again on her b-day for the start of free dining) so she also got free dinning but she split it with my other son who tuned 2 on the trip.

My DD will turn 3 on the 2nd day of our trip. CM told me if I wanted to put her on the DP they could do that for us. (but if you have park tickets as part of your package you would not want to do that cuz they would add the child to that to) Or you could just go to buffets for main meals - all they can eat is free. Then just pay OOP for the rest.
