My oldest DD is dying to eat breakfast w/ the Disney princess at Disneyland later this month. I have no info on it and most of the info I find is related to WDW. Could some one please tell me more info about the breakfast? What they do at the breakfast, do the princesses just parade around or what? Need the basic and bonus ideas about the whole experience. From one DISer to another thanks all! princess:

"A Disney Princess Breakfast" is pretty much like all character dining experiences. The Princess' rotate around the resturant stopping to talk to every table, sign autographs and take pictures. It is located at the Plaza Inn on Main Street. Cinderella and her Fairy Godmother are there and then the other Princess' are subject to change. It is a fun experience...

From what I hear, for the best experience, get priority seating arrangements for the one of the earliest seatings you can. Call 714-781-3463 for priority seatings.

I made Priority seating reservations for April 21 and the earliest they had was 9:20 (I was hoping for eariler) My DD is soo excited. Friends tell us it is worth it, but call now.

We did the breakfast in Decmeber just after it opened, and had a great experience.

Others who have been have been very disappointed. The only difference appears to be we booked for the earliest possible sitting (which on our day was 8:30, some sessions start at 8) and those who had bad experiences either booked for later sessions or just turned up and had to wait, and then missed out on characters and food.

We were greeted at the door by Mary Poppins and Bert singing and quoting lines from the movies "Spoonful of Sugar" and "stand up straight, don't slouch".

Inside Beast and Belle were posing for photos, and Cinderella, Aladdin and Jasmine, Mulan, Aurora and Fairy Godmother came to our table - a great experience.

Read "Princess Overload" in our travel diary below for more details.

how many different seating times are there?

I'd love to know how many seating times there are as well. Also, do you know how far in advance you can make reservations? 60 maybe?

Most likely PS can be made at 6 weeks. It seems inside the park the PS arrangement can be made only 6 weeks out. While those for the hotel's can be made at 60 days.

Hi there,My friend was down at Spring Break and she said that anyone can walk in and "visit" with the characters/princesses.I had a booking for May ...and I just cancelled it to go to the Mothers day Brunch.I was put off,by paying big bucks .The gates on the day I had booked were opening at 10am and breakfast was at 9.30am the earliest they had.Which gives you 30 minutes with a big crowd...before all the "other non breakfast eaters "come in for a visit....thats what put me off......I was only told this,I don't know if that happens on all days....I heard the Grand hotel breakfast was very good...characters take the time to visit and interact...hope this helps.....

I phoned exactly 60 days in advance to get a 9 am seating for the Princess breakfast. She had to check the calendar and count ahead to make sure I hadn't called too soon. The Disney website says 60 days ahead for reservations.

From everything I have read PS for INSIDE the park you have to call no sooner then 6 weeks. For thos OUTSIDE the parks you can call 60 days. My guess is that they do not have a concrete park schedule before this time so they do not want to make PS for non-park hours. IE an 8am seating for a 10am opening. or Vice Versa, make the earliest seating at 9am when the park opens at 8am.

At Disneyland.com, if you look up the princess breakfast at the Plaza Inn, it gives this addition info:

"Priority Seating is recommended and can be made in person for this location on a limited basis. Priority Seating can also be arranged up to 60 days in advance by calling Disney Dining at (714) 781- DINE."

The other character breakfast additional info just says that PS can be made in advance, without indicating how many days ahead you can call.
HTH!

This could be true. I have never attempted to make this PS.

Did you get yours on that day when you called 60 days out?
