dining veterans-suggestions?

Heading to the world on June 25th! Got my ADR's! however, I've decided to ditch my ressie for spirit of aloha, it was one too many credits and I don't want to pay oop for 5 of us.

Anyone have suggestions on a TS replacement? I have narrowed it down to a couple of choices, but this is our first trip in 10 years and need some input!

Here's our present ADR's...

le cellier
chef mickey
sci fi
garden grille
tony's (once during spectro, once for grand gathering breakfast)

I have a stop in AKL for a QS meal at the mara on our AK day.
we also have a pirate adventure at carribean


My substitution choices are:
whispering canyon
Raglan rd (my pick, but is Ok for kids?)
planet hollywood
Ohana(really like the poly)

Any thoughts, ideas? Or your postive/negative experiences?

I'd pick Raglan Road. And yes it's fine for kids. My DD is 9 and we've been going there for 3-4 years now. She loves it. The kid's menu is excellent. If you go when the band is playing you can ask to be seated as far away as possible-it's what we do.

Ger's Bread 'n Butter Pudding is one of my fav. desserts in all of WDW. The Not Bleedin' Chowder is excellent as well.

As for your other suggestions-
whispering canyon-Haven't eaten here.
planet hollywood-Haven't eaten here.
Ohana(really like the poly)-Like it for breakfast-didn't like it for dinner-I would pick Kona Cafe instead.

IF you are planning on going to dtd then Raglan rd (and you like the menu) for us, we just dont go to dtd - we may hit in an afternoon, but its out of our touring way!

So I'd go with Ohana then whispering Canyon as both can be done after touring MK!! and how cool to take a boat over to your adr from MK!!

Thanks a bunch! I definately have a much better idea on which way to go. I asked the kids and they chose Ohana, I like the idea of taking a boat after MK that day. I'm still interested in Raglan though...I just love irish pubs. I don't know if I will get to DTD or not.
