Le Cellier (dinner)
Very good food but not worth the price. I would tend to believe the reviews I've read that say you can get a better steak at Shula's or The Yachtsman
Yak n Yeti (dinner)
Good food, fun atmosphere, reasonably priced. I highly recommend the Crispy Honey Chicken. Would not hesitate to eat here again.
Tusker House (lunch buffet)
Good food but wayyyyy overpriced (as are all Character buffets). Lacking options for younger, picky eaters. Would not go again.
Sci Fi (lunch)
Enjoyed the food, setting and experience. The Salmon Salad was wonderful! My son thoroughly enjoyed the bacon cheeseburger. However, we'd prefer to be able to talk to each other while we dine. Although we did enjoy it, this is likely a "one and done" for us.
The Plaza (dinner)
Food was decent but nothing special. Comparatively low cost. Was disappointed in the boring dessert/ice cream options. I actually went next door to the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor and got a great sundae. Would go again because of the "low" prices.
Kona Cafe (breakfast)
All in all very good. My son really enjoyed the Tonga Toast. I tried a bite and thought it was okay but did not live up to the hype, IMO. My ham/cheese omelet was fantastic. My younger son enjoyed his Mickey pancakes. Wife had the French Toast w/caramel banana sauce, which was nothing special. The pressed Kona coffee for two was exquisite. Also, the portions are ample, so a breakfast here means you can likely skip lunch!
Beaches & Cream (lunch)
Fun place, great atmosphere, good food and ice cream, reasonable prices. The turkey club was LOADED with turkey! Our server was a riot. You can take a walk over to EPCOT and burn a small fraction of the calories.
Sanaa (late lunch)
Excellent! This one of our favorite restaurants in WDW. Love the atmosphere, bread service and entrees. The Butter Chicken is to die for. I recommend booking a late lunch (2:30 / 3:00) as it's not very busy and you'll likely get a window seat for a good view of the animals.
BOG (ppo breakfast)
Expensive but excellent food and atmosphere. The Croque Madame is actually one of my wife's favorite entrees in WDW. I would suggest splitting meals. Between myself, wife, and two sons (15 and 12) we split two orders of the Croque Madame and the Eggs and Bacon from kids menu (we're not on dining plan). It all comes with a plate of pastries and was was plenty of food for us. A ppo breakfast here is worth it to be able to jump in line for 7DMT ahead of the rope drop crowd. One other thing to note is... it does not matter what time your ppo reservation is. All ppo groups get let in at the same time and it's "first come first serve" once you're let in the park. In other words... an 8:00a res will not get you in any faster than an 8:45 res.
T-Rex (dinner)
Always a hit with us. A fun dining experience and good food. We requested a table in the Ice Cave. To get this, we had to wait an extra 20 mins past our res time but it was worth it. My only complaint is the beer selection is limited. Call them directly to make a res as opposed to going through the Disney app/website.
Crystal Palace (dinner)
For me, character buffets are wayyyy over priced and definitely not worth what you pay. However, this is the one character buffet I'd consider doing again if my arm was twisted... significantly. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is gorgeous. Wonderful selection of salads, meats/chicken/fish, sides and dessert bar (which includes soft serve ice cream). The salmon was absolutely delicious as was the edamame salad. We went here on the last night of our trip. I ate like a pig all vacation so it was nice to have some tasty salads and fish to reduce my guilt a bit.
Pecos Bills
Solid option for QS. I really enjoyed the Southwest Chicken Salad and my son's favorite QS burger in all of WDW can be found here.
Cosmic Rays
Adequate / not bad. Lots of seating. Good location. Nothing special.
Casey’s- decent hot dogs, fun place to get lunch but it's too crowded.
La Cantina de San Angel
This is our favorite stop for an early afternoon snack (nachos) and drink (Pacifico for me, mango margarita for the wife, water for the kids... ha ha).
