Hey everyone! We are planning a surprise birthday trip for my daughter to celebrate her 10th birthday. Looking for dining suggestions that would offer an amazing experience for her (lunch or dinner). She's always wanted to eat in the castle, but the menu isn't thrilling me, and I'm not sure she'd like it either. Open to any of the parks, or resorts. Thanks!

I think Hoop Dee Doo Revue would be such a fun time, and be sure they know she is celebrating her Big Double Digit "10" birthday!
It's great fun, yummy food... perhaps take a horse carriage ride before or after? What fun and happy celebrating!!

What about Crystal Palace good food and a variety of it. Also as you know it over looks the castle.

What about doing the Tomorrow Land Terrance Dessert Party at MK to watch the Fireworks?
Or maybe try California Grill and time it to watch fireworks

DGD is 9 and some of her favorite meals during our trip last month were

Tiffins
Rose and Crown

She loves to go see Yeeha Bob over at POR. They've got great wings at the lounge or pretty darn good food at Boatrights

If she likes princesses - how about Akershus. We didn't like our meal at CRT - and won't eat there anytime soon. We also enjoy 1900 Park Fare for dinner - so much fun and I bet it would be fun for her birthday.

My 10 yo DD picked Ohana for her 11th bday dinner this year. If she wants to eat in the castle, you could do breakfast at CRT, my picky eaters were able to find stuff to eat for breakfast.

We celebrated our DD's 10th birthday in The World too! We had tickets for MNSSHP that night, so we went to Beaches and Cream for lunch, took her to the Grand Floridian Spa for her first Mani/Pedi (we gave her the choice of that or BBB, and she opted for the m/p), and then we went to MK, had an early dinner at CRT, and then on to the party! It was magical! My Lucy wore her Olaf costume from her dance recital and so many people asked her to take a picture with them! She even was cheered for right before the parade as some thought she was part of the parade! It was so funny! (My avatar is from that day). I love the suggestion above of the dessert party! And the m/p that we did at the spa was a lot of fun too.
As for dinners, Via Napoli was a lot if fun, and the Italian waiters came and sang to our DD (this was the same birthday trip, just a few days earlier). We did a breakfast at Akershus, and Snow White brought Lucy a cupcake that was "from" Anna and Elsa, with "apologies" from them for not being able to be there to help her celebrate! It was super sweet! At CRT on her actual birthday, we ordered a chocolate slipper filled with mousse, with happy birthday written on it. She loved that!
And 1900 Park Fare is a lot of fun at dinner. The stepmother and stepsisters are amazing and so funny!

When is your DD's birthday? I'm sure whatever you do she will love it!

What about WC I did that one year for my birthday can't recall the just remember how much fun it was

Another vote for Hoop Dee Doo. My daughter has seen it twice (she's 11) and it's the number one thing on her
list for our upcoming visit. One other idea might be that balloon flight at Disney Springs. We have never done it but it seems like it might be a one of a kind experience. Have fun and Happy birthday to your daughter.

Thanks everyone! I am trying to have her look through menus with me, telling her that we have to be prepared for when we can go. She will be so surprised:ccat:

What about BOG? I think the food is a little better there (not the best), but definitely better than the castle. My family's favorite is Rose and Crown in EPCOT, which has the best food. If you reserve a time an hour before Illuminations, they might seat you directly on their patio, or take you outside to their special viewing area. My family does this every trip and we love it!

My kids consider BOG and Akershus castles too. I would do CRT for a 10th birthday though. But we did like the food.
