Dining stress!

Thats good to know, thank you :cheer2:

I think we are going to do that on our first night. We arrive on the 31st of Oct, but our WDW stay doesnt start until the 1st (I had a free voucher for a night a Hilton so booked Bonnet Creek).

Now to fit everything in!!

Why do we do this to ourselves year after year :rotfl2:

I first work out what day we will be where using easywdw.com recommended park. Then I tend to book breakfast meals earlier in the trip as we will still be getting used to time change etc and will already be up early. Then start booking meals so we would be in the park for fireworks etc.

When it was just DH and I loved researching menus and reading reviews in places we wanted to go. Now we have DD we just went to character meals very little planning went in to it and I actually missed it. X

When we visited last August, we had planned our ADRs around our park days so we were already in the park or near to the resort.

However, we also made a number of changes to our planned park days, but found no problem in rearranging our ADRs - I think we changed 5 of them including getting Narcoossees on the same day.

ADRs are always a useful backstop - at least you know you have a reservation somewhere should you be unable to make another nearer the time. There is no problems with cancelling as long as youremember that most character/signature meals and dinner shows do charge if you cancel within 24 hours.
