I know there was a bunch of stuff on this a few days back, but I can't find it!! And I really looked.

As I recall, Dave from Marietta gave some kind of idea how the dining rotations are established? Something like if you have young kids, it will probably be xyzxyz, if you are just adults it will probably be yzxyzx?

Can anyone either find it or answer based on their experience?

The general consensus is that:

If you have young children, your rotation will probably be: APLAPLA
If you have older children, your rotation will probably be: PLAPLAP
If you have no children, your rotation will probably be: LAPLAPL

However, these are very broad generalizations, and you will find people from all groups in all rotations. (On our trip, we were two adults without kids and we were seated with two other couples on the PLAPLAP rotation.)

I don't know where the line is. I would guess it is somewhere around 8 or 9, but again, since these are very broad generalizations, you would probably find that for every five people who said that their experience matched the above guidelines, there would probably be four who had a different experience.

We just cruised last week and had the PLA rotation. There was a 6 year old, 8 year old, and a 14 year old at our table along with their parents. All girls too! It was really nice.

Wish I was planning another trip, it was great!!!!

Hey jenpan! missed you too on that cruise. I guess we must have passed somewhere on the ship a hundred times!! LOL

We had the PLA rotation with 6,8,10 & 11 year olds in our group of 15. two tables together, second seating with Silvio & Navneet.....It just couldn't have gotten any better!!!!!!!

Hi, what are the possible rotations for the 4 day cruise. We're a couple traveling with no kids.... thanks.

I too would like to know possible 4 day rotations with kids?

I believe the rotations are basically the same on the Wonder, replacing Lumiere's for Triton's. So:

Young Kids: APT
Older Kids: PTA
No Kids: TAP

(I don't know if the 4 day cruise is doing APTT type rotations or APTA type rotations. I think it may have changed once or twice over the years.)
