Dining Rotation Requests Not Allowed???

I just got off the phone with DCL. I was told that I could not request a specific rotation after she took the time to read the 3 different rotations. Anyone else have this problem or should I just call back and speak to a different cast member?

Call back and speak to a different CM.

It is just a request, but you can certainly have the request placed on your reservation. Maybe she was a newbie who doesn't know. If you get the same response from a different CM, I'd ask to speak to a supervisor and ask them when this changed (if it has).

So when you check in and get your Key to the World card you'll see your rotation letters...if the letters don't match your request - don't worry...just go to Royal Court and ask to have your rotation changed...

the only time we have requested a specific rotation was last october when we took our adult children for the first time. they booked a dinner at palo as a thank you for taking them and i didn't want them to miss the show in animators so i put in a request and it was granted.
i know some want to be in royal palace for formal night. to each their own.

we put in a request because we loved Royal Palace on the Dream. We are sailing the Fantasy, so we visit one restaurant 3 times and the others 2 times. I asked that Royal Court be our 3x restaurant. But, it I don't get it, I am fine.

Mostly it's because they want to eat at xx restaurant on pirate night or formal night. I request our server, since we love him but leave the rest up to DCL

I just ask for our preference to be noted on our reservation this week - no problem. Yes, it is only a preference and there is no guarantee that it will be done. Yet, it can not hurt. I would call back.

Our reason for requesting is that we like to be in Animators 3X - it's our favorite.

Are you my doppleganger? We just requested our rotation for a booking on Friday without any issue. I also like the Animators for 3 nights because you get pirate images on the screen during pirates night. I also don't really care for the enchanted garden.

Just like NeverSayNever & Quellman - my kids want 3 dinners in Animators - less serious! We have dressed up for every dinner, every cruise. This time we plan on being a little more relaxed. Also, if I request it in advance, maybe I won't have to stand in line to change it when we get onboard. Every second of relaxation is very valuable to me!!!

Update...I called DCL again this morning & had the rotation request put on my reservation. No problem at all. The young man was very helpful and he knew exactly what I was talking about.
