Hello everyone, I know this is probably listed somewhere so sorry in advance. We've booked a 4 night on the Dream and we want to do either Palo or Remy one night of the cruise but want to do each dining room as well. So my question is i am assuming that on the 4th night is the duplicate restaurant, i would guess that the first three nights you do each restaurant and then repeat one on the 4th. Any help is appreciated.

Your dinner arrangements — meaning your restaurant rotation schedule, and whether you have the early or late seating for dinner — are assigned before you embark on the cruise. You can determine your restaurant rotation by looking at your room key. Your rotation is indicated using letters, such as ERAA or PALPALP. For the Dream, there are Royal Palace/Royal Court (R), Enchanted Garden (E) and Animator’s Palate (A). On the Dream and Fantasy you’ll also see an assigned time for the evening shows.

For example, you might have the rotation listed on your Key To The World Card as AEER, using the first letters of each restaurant. This means you'd dine the first night in Animator's Palate, second night in Enchanted Garden, third night in Enchanted Garden, and fourth night in Royal Palace. The other rotations on the four-night Dream sailing are similar, RAAE and ERRA. You're welcome to request a particular rotation if you'd like, by calling the agents at Disney Cruise Line (or your travel agent) to add a note about this request to your reservation. Disney is great about trying to accommodate requests like this, however it is not guaranteed.

If you want to change your seating or your restaurant rotation, do that as soon as you embark. The location on the ship where changes can be made will be listed in the Navigator in your stateroom once it’s ready, or just go to Guest Services and they can point you in the right direction.

There have been reports that they have changed to the AEER, ERRA, RAAE rotations so people aren't in the same dining room the last two nights and the last morning. It didn't bother me one bit, but apparently a lot of people didn't like it.

I sail on May 14 and when I called they put us in the ERAA because I wanted to make sure we definitely got animators palate without it being on pirate night. They told me I would definitely get that dining rotation but we are sailing concierge, that may make a difference.

We've had three 4 nighters on the dream and each time it is nights two and three in the same room. ERRA has been ours twice if not all three.

Yeah, on our Dream cruise we had the 1223 rotation also. I think I recall that we had RAAE.

Thanks everyone for the info, good to know we can request a certain rotation....we went on the 3 night so we got to try each restaurant but our friends coming with us haven't been on DCL before so we want them to try each restaurant.

So what rotation do you think is best --- most fun --- for this 4-night on Dream? We're sailing concierge, and can make a request, but as first-time cruisers, I have no idea what we'd like best.

Do any of the rotation restaurants have windows? (Real windows, I mean... or are they all on the inside?)

Some recommend asking for Animator's on Pirate night. The pictures (which do the Crush show on the "regular" night) have pirate themed pictures on that night.

But, we've always just gone with what DCL assigns us.

I remember windows (on the port side) in Enchanted Garden (we were seated by one). Don't recall whether there were any on the starboard side. And (looking at my pictures) it seems that Royal Palace has windows on the starboard side.

AFAIK, they are still 1223. ERRA; RAAE; AEER.
Itinerary I (May 14 and Sept 14 have this itinerary) are ERAA, RAEE, and AERR. No idea but this is what we were told via concierge and others on our sailing have contacted DCL and gotten the same answers. Just wanted to put this out in case anyone is searching and finds this thread. :)

On a 4-night, the repeated MDR is on Pirate Night. So you will be in AP for it if you have that rotation. You will also have the regular menu on the other night.

Hmmmm..we're doing Palo on night 3 (May 22 departure) and Royal Palce is our favorite....RAEE sounds perfect for us (EE is our least favorite)
I'll point out that different itineraries (cashe said itinerary I, on specific dates) has that rotation (same dining room nights 3 & 4). Our itinerary in 2014 had the repeated dining room on nights 2 & 3.

So yours may be 1233 OR 1223.

It's best to do as Dug says - ask for XX dining room on night (whatever). And let DCL work it out from there.

Yeah, we're looking to be 1223.

We've got a current request for RAAE with Palo on night 2 (Crush night at A). Im thinking we may shift Palo to night 1 miss R, do back to back at Animators Palate and skip Enchanted Garden altogether.
