How does the dining rotation work on the Western? Which would be the best rotation to get?

thanks - I did see those charts while I was planning our eastern cruise so I know all the info is on the web. At this time, however, Im just not sure where Ive seen it all. Thanks for pulling it up so quickly.
I see on the Western they do all the rotation dining in the beginning before going into the themes. Any idea why?

Hi guys....just a heads up....the charts I did (thank you for the very nice comments BTW!!!) may not be current. Some of the more recent Magic cruisers said they had a slightly different experience than what the chart indicates on the Western.

I think they explain those differences near the end of the thread. I did not get a chance to change the chart yet.

You can also check out Dave's site, because I think his is more accurate.

imgoingtodisney - I remember your thread about requesting the dining rotation ahead of time and your frustration then. I had requested a specific rotation for the 11/23 cruise as I thought that I did not want to be in Parrot Cay for formal & semi-formal nights (and semi was Thanksgiving night). As it turns out, I got the exact rotation I did not want and we originally got seated at a large table when we had asked for small. Frankly, once we were there, I liked Parrot Cay better than I thought and it didn't matter in the littlest bit what the rotation was. It was a waste of time and worry to even bother making the request. My guess is those who get what they have requested get it by coincidence and not bc of any kind of a notation in the record. Now as for the table, while our original table-mates were lovely, they were a newlywed couple and an older couple with a teenager. We are a 40 something couple with a DD8. I immediately went to Stephanie, the head server, and the next night we were seated with a wonderful couple our age and their DD10. It made all the difference in the world and frankly we were having so much fun that I couldn't have told you which restaurant we were in once we were seated at the table. I am not sure any of us even saw the entertainment!!!!!
