Dining Rotation for 4 day cruise

On the rotation you are assigned....

I think there are 3 different rotations that you can be assigned....since DW and I always travel with our young children, we've always had APTA (Animators,Parrot Cay, Tritons)on all our cruises....

When you first get to your cabin you'll see your assigned dining rotations. We did PTAP (Parrot, Tritons, Animator, Parrot). But we substituted the first Parrot by going to Palo while our DSs were with their clubs.

My understanding is that people with young children will usually have APTA.

People with older children will usually get PTAP.

Adults traveling solo can expect to get TAPT.

But, since sometimes there are a lot more people with children than singles, or tons of older children, or it seems like nothing but couples - don't count on any certain rotation.

(Our kids are 4 and 5 - we are expecting APTA - might end up with PTAP - and I'd be shocked to get TAPT - but it could happen).

Last December we cruised with our 17 yr. old and our three yr. old and had the TAPT rotation. :D

Can we request a certain rotation ??

I know my friend would love doing Animators twice although by that standard we'd prob be the Tritons twice as we are adults with no kids and I dont believe we'd be doin Palo.

Two families with linked reservations who had a total of 6 kids from 9-17 and we had TAPT - by the way, I think it is a great rotation since we did Palo first night and got dressed up on the last night for Dreams and Tritons (and nice photos)
