Dining Rotation and WDW Excursion Question

Hi all! We are planning a DCL trip this autumn on the Disney Magic. This will be our 2nd DCL cruise and our first was also on the Magic. One of our stops is at WDW so we are planning to be there all day. I want to make sure we don't have AP dining room scheduled that night. It's BY FAR our favorite dining room and I LOVE the magic there. I absolutely don't want to miss out on it on a day that we are at WDW. I'm not sure how to request a specific rotation or make sure that doesn't happen. Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks

Just call DCL and request "to have a rotation that you are NOT in Animator's Palate on night (whatever day it is)".

Then let DCL figure it out.

But, I'll point out that, chances are, whoever has AP on that night will not be getting any special shows. It's my understanding that dinner rotations are not done on that day.

Correct Shmoo. Last year one dining room was open as a buffet(think it was Carioca), one was open as Ala Carte(pretty sure it was Lumiere) and Cabanas was open from 9 till 12 or 1 as a buffet for people returning to the ship later.
