Cast: me, hubby, 3 kids (9, 6 and 4 mos) ALL VEGETARIANS

Chef Mickey's: I had called a week before my ADR to let them know we were vegetarians and would like something prepared. The past 3 trips the Chef made us unbelievable dinners. This time I was only to speak to a Chef assistant who said she doesn't know why they freak out over veggie meals and why do they tell us to call a week in advance. Ummmm ok. We get there and the Chef comes out and said before he prepares something he will show me what is veggie on the buffet. I told him for what we were paying I should have something more then mashed potatoes and salad stuff. 20 minutes later out came 2 bowls of mushy overcooked penne loaded with equally mushy overcooked veggie in some sauce. I ate more mashed potatoes and salad stuff instead.

Crystal Palace: Tons to eat there and the food was fresh. Interaction was great that night and the baby loved Pooh.

Tony's: We ate there on Halloween before MNSSHP. I had the eggplant rotini (only thing veggie besides spaghetti). Basically was a plate full of spaghetti with a little mound of eggplant the size of my palm all for $18.50!! I like the restaurant but will not go back.

Boma: Well what can I say that has not already been said WONDERFUL!!! A vegetarians eating dream. There were so many choices and the food was so flavorful and yummy, the Chef's were very helpful with questions. We went back a 2nd time and the Chef made us a delicious entree.

Wispering Canyon: Certainly was an experience especially when my daughter asked for ketchup LOL The vegetarian bean dish was delicious and the kids had so much fun. We also had dessert, happiest celebration and that ice cream banana dessert, both were great!!

Port Orleans food court: Was so nice to be able to drive to the food court from OKW. They had great veggie burgers!!! We also had breakfast there 1 morning and the hotcakes were hot and fluffy, the Mickey waffle was huge!

Epcot Mexio: We ate in the restaurant in Mexico (name escapes me now) and they have a vegetarian menu so make sure you ask for it. It was faboulous! A combo plate of a black bean enchalada (huge) and a cheese quesadilla along with spanish rice (not so good). The serving was huge and I was full all day. The kids split 1 between the 2. Was fun to eat and wave to the people going by on the boat ride. Oh and the salsa was soooooooo good!!

Mamma Melrose: I had the cheese and pesto flatbread, hubby had the pasta without whatever meat was in it and we all shared the cheese dip app. Everything was really good. The bread and sundried tomato oil dip was also great!

Epcot: We had counter service in Morocco and I had the vegetarian combo with humus, toubouli and marinated olives I asked for pita bread instead of the roll, hubby had the toubouli wrap. I liked the beans it came with and hubby did not.

Epcot: F&W we tried everything that was vegetarian and I liked the flourless choc cake the best and my daughter LOVED the leek and potatoe soup.

Epcot bakery in Norway: all I can say is that I ate 4 rice creams this trip :rotfl2:

MK: OMG I had the Figaro fries for the 1st time (without bacon) and I am now hooked, they are a french fry lovers dream!!

MK Noodle Station: We all had the tofu veggie one and it was chock full of noodles and tofu and veggies, make sure you squeeze the lime, made the flavor wonderful.

We of course went to Spoodles spur of the moment on the last day and did not realize they are only open for dinner LOL oh well, next time!!

I think that's all the major food, we ate ALOT of snacks and I wanted an egg roll so badly but everytime we were in that area the cart was closed (Dole Whip, ice cream, Main Street bakery stuff)

I have pics but do not know how to load them (someone help me)!!

Thanks for your reviews!

I just have one question:

Where and what are the "figaro fries?"

Thanks for your reviews!

I have good friends who are vegetarains and love Boma, too. They eat there on every trip.

they are located in the counter service restaurant next to It's A Small World. You can get a table and see all the boats below. The fries are covered in cheese sauce and then loaded with chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce and drizzled with mayo, sounded soooo weird to me but they are really GREAT!

Sounds like my boyfriend's perfect food! lol.

We'll have to try it next time!

Thanks for the quick reply. :bitelip:

I'm also a vegetarian, so I really enjoyed reading your reviews. Sorry you had so much trouble at Chef Mickey's. We were thinking about eating there in June, but now I'm not so sure.
