5/8 Got in from Dallas, headed to MGM. PS at 50's Prime Time at 4:35, got there a few minutes early, they were telling walk ins they MIGHT be able to get them in at 9! Thank heaven for a PS! Boursin cheese and onion rings were excellent, DH almost got a fork in his hand going for my cheese! (Not that I'm selfish) Excellent chicken and pot roast, great potatoes. DH ate a banana split and I had the smores (with some help from our great server, sister Amy). Everything was wonderful!

5/9 Lunch at the Flame Tree BBQ in AK. Great smoked chicken salad, plenty of chicken mixed all the way through, not just tossed on top. Ribs were very tender. Dinner at Marrakesh, always one of our favorites. Didn't seem as good this time, maybe an off night. We did the preset meal, the soup and beef brewat rolls were great, as was the dessert, but the main entrees (chicken and beef) just weren't as good as I remember.

5/10 Lunch at Columbia Harbour House, love going upstairs and people watching. We had chicken and fish combos, fish was better than the chicken, but both were adequate for counter service. Dinner at Boma. Can't say enough good things, we had PS at 8, got there early and had drinks at Victoria Falls while we waited. Got a great window seat and tried a little of everything. I'm going to have to look for a recipe for the apple and jicama salad, we couldn't get enough of it!! The chefs were great, telling us to try different things and answering questions. Great wait staff as well! Very busy, but they kept everything well stocked. Just a great experience!

5/11 Earl of Sandwich for lunch. Not as impressed as I thought I'd be from other reviews. Okay sandwich, Le Frenchy, but nothing too exciting. DH had the Cobb salad and he really enjoyed it. Dinner at Chefs de France. Had the cheese plate as an appetizer. FYI, it is brie, port salut, gruyere and roquefort. You get no crackers or bread with it and I guess I'm not a big fan of chunks of cheese alone. I had the black pepper filet and it was very good, quite tender, good stuff! DH had the sole and didn't care for it. Said it was really mushy, maybe overcooked? Haven't had a lot of sole, so maybe that is how it cooks up though??

5/12 Sunshine Food Fair at the Land for lunch. Oh my god!! It was SO good!! Had the beef with flatbread, greens and tabbouleh. It was awesome! Tons of food! DH had salmon and mashed potatoes and raved about it. I snuck a bite and it was great!! Le Cellier for dinner, had an 8:50 PS and thank heavens, they were turning people away left and right! What can I say, it was excellent, DH had wasabi shrimp appetizer and surf and turf with the dessert sampler and WOULDN'T share! It was that good! I was busy with the cheese soup, filet and celebration cake. Luckily I didn't have to share either, it was fantastic! Great staff, we were the last people there and they didn't make us feel rushed or uncomfortable AT ALL.

Sorry so long! Hope it helps someone make meal decisions!!

It isn't, Steph told us it isn't on the menu because they are supposed to tell everyone about it. It was a shoulder steak and a lobster tail with roasted yukon potatoes tossed in a light dressing. He loved all of it!

Thanks for sharing!! You dined at many places that I have yet to try out =)

Does anyone know if you can have the surf and turf with the candlelight processional dinner package or with the dining plan?
Thanks!!! :)

We did the surf and turf on the dining plan, I'm not familiar with the other program, so can't help there!!

Thanks for the reviews!
We were at Marrakesh last Dec and I was a little disappointed. Some of the food was dried out. I guess we'll give it another chance as the atmosphere is great.

What is the dessert sampler at Le Cellier? I didn't see it listed on the menu's at allears... Were you on MYW Dining plan, and if so, do you think you got a good value for your money?

The dessert sampler was a small creme brulee, a scoop of raspberry sorbet, and a miniature celebration cake (chocolate layer, yum!). We were on the MYW dining and got a lot of value for our money. It cost us $350 for our plan and I calculated from our receipts that we would have spent about $570 if we paid as we went. Now we did eat more (and better!) than we would have without the plan, but it was a great chance to try things we normally wouldn't and take advantage of some of the nicer restaurants for dinner instead of going for lunch to try to save $$$. I would do it again in a heartbeat!!
