Dining Reviews Sep 2008 & Feb 2009 Update 8/13 - Complete!

We were in Montgomery County ... so it would take us about 45 minutes to get into "town" for dinner and such. I too miss it!
I know where Montgomery County is, rarely go there though, but I do have friends in that area.

I live in PA, and the only place to buy wines and liquors are state stores, as well as like vineyards and stuff. We have very strict liquor laws.

I'm sorry, I forget that most places have stricter liquor laws than us boozers down here with drive-thru daiquiri shops.:rolleyes1

Wish we had those up here. Honestly, I'm quite glad we don't sell alcohol where I work, a lot of underage people get very defensive when they have to show ID, which I do have to check for cigarettes.

It's a small world ... sorry I couldn't resist!

Looking forward to more reviewspopcorn::
Oh God, not that song. :headache: :rotfl:

You have to try it. It was fabulous. And what are you doing reading my reviews, when you should be working on your own? ;)

I'm just trying to spread the review love so people don't think I'm an entirely egomanical pseudo-food critic. :rotfl2:

And I did post a small review last night ... I'm starting slowly with some smaller reviews (and I still need to upload the pictures).

:goodvibes

Another Pennsylvanian here but from the opposite side of the state. I live about an hour east of Pittsburgh. Go Phillies though for the World series.:goodvibes

It would be okay with me if you were! I honestly can't wait to read your reviews, and will have to try and make some time to read them soon.

I don't care about the Philies, or the Eagles, or the 76ers, or the Flyers. I said as much at work today, and my very Philly-sports obsessed coworker told me to watch my mouth, LOL. That's okay, that's how we get along, I talk trash on sports, and he talks trash on Disney and the princesses, LOL.

:rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl:

Just noticed your location, I live about an hour west of Philly, but I go into the city at least once a month for shopping and dining with friends. I need to go again soon, haven't been in Philly since before my trip, and I am starting to miss my friend terribly.
I think you might be kinda close to me...that's cool!

:lmao: :lmao: I live in PA now, but grew up in MD, where there was a drive-thru Beer Barn....you seriously drove in, popped the trunk, told the guys what you want, they load it up, you pay, and drive out the other side.

I do like how they sell alcohol in Grocery stores in FL...It makes it so much easier when planning a dinner party, etc. to just be able to get everything in one place.
It's a small world ... sorry I couldn't resist!

Ok...now I'll be singing that song ALL DAY LONG!!!!! And I can't go "get a Disney Fix" to get it out of my head for at least another year. Thanks alot:rolleyes1

Shhhh....You're likely to get yourself in trouble if you don't at least get on the Phillies bandwagon now.

I have to admit that I'm not a big sports person, but my DH is OBSESSED with all things Philly sports...to the point that it makes me like sports less. My DS plays Baseball, so I have gotten into the Phillies but It's not my life......

We all know that DISNEY IS MY LIFE:rolleyes1 :lmao:

Love the reviews so far! One question - it looks like you have several 2-credit table service meals in your list. Doesn't the Deluxe Dining Plan only give you 3 table service meals per day at the 1-credit locations?

I just have never liked sports.

I think I got in "trouble" yesterday, since they're trying to get everyone excited about tomorrow's game. Did the Phillies win Wednesday night? I had no idea, and my coworkers can't believe I didn't know who won the game. They also couldn't believe that I was going to choose to watch Grey's Anatomy over the Philies last night.

It gives three credits a day, but you can use them anyway you wish, including using more or less then three per day. I had thirty-six total for the whole trip, on day one I used five credits, on day seven, I used two. I did use them all on table service meals by the end of the trip.

Lurker coming out...thank you so much for reviewing everything. I have been reading all of your past ones as well, and it definitely helped make some decisions for me where I was torn.
I am becoming a food review junkie now...

:rotfl2: They won the first game lost the 2nd. Even my DH didn't watch last night, which made me think maybe he was sick:scared1: Anyway, at 5:30 am I hear him grumbling and cursing in the bathroom, and I'm in bed thinking ok..Phillies lost. Sure enough, that's what the grumbling was about:sad2:

Ok...back to your food report...I'm hungry!! Time for another installment whenever you have one ready!

this is a dining review board, please stick to the review. If you want to finish, great, we look forward to sharing the rest of your trip. If you decide not to, that is fine, but the discussion over the pictures needs to end

thank you!
