Sorry this is a little late. We were so exhausted from the trip I feel like I am just now getting back into the swing of things. We had a wonderful vacation and the Dining plan was the BEST!!!!!
TIP: We bought the refillable mugs on our first day...whenever we had a counter service meal at our resort...we used bottles of water as our drink and stored them in the fridge in our room and took them to the parks with us. Also, buy "crystal light on the go"...if you run out of water, fill up the bottle from a water fountain and add the crystal light mix. Makes FL water drinkable. Worked out great.
Donalds Breakfastasaurs. The kids LOVED it! My boys are ages 9 and 7 so they loved seeing Donald, Mickey, Goofy and Pluto. The food was basic breakfast buffet. Not the best but not bad either. I was very happy they had Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
The server was nice and friendly. We had enough time with the characters. Overall it was a good time by all.
Le Celler Steakhouse: Our BEST meal!!! Thank God we made PS because they were turning people away. Dh and I had salad and beef barly soup for starters. YUMMY! We each had the Rib Eye steak, mine with mashed potato and dh with fries. FABULOUS!!! My older son had a steak on the kids menu and my younger son had chicken and fries. They ate it all! I had the desert sampler but was too stuffed to finish it. The boys had the choc. moose and smores for desert. DH had coffee. Everything was great. Our server was very nice and friendly. Meal came out to a little over $150.00 -- I was so happy to have the dining plan!
Chef Mickeys for Breakfast - The Best Buffet for Characters! We made a late PS (11:00) and used it as our lunch. We ate here last year and had an early PS and we thought the food was better last year. I don't know if it was because we were later in the day or what. It was still good, we just compaired it to last year. The best part of the late PS was that my kids had more time with the characters. We have great photos of my kids with Mickey, Pluto, goofy, Chip all in one picture. Minnie tried to squeeze in the picture but was too late. The kids had a blast and so did we.
Concourse Steakhouse - The food was great. Not as good as Le Celler but a close 2nd. We again had Cesar salads, onion soup (very good), I had the Feliet Migion (sp?) DH had the Rib Eye steak. Everything was delicious. Again, the boys had steak and chicken. I had a milkshake for desert. The boys had a desert where you get a sugar cookie shaped like Mickey on a painters palate, then 3 icing glazes, sprinkles and a paint brush and the kids decorate the cookie. They had a lot of fun with that. They also had one of those kids drinks with the electric ice cube. The waiter said it would be extra and not covered on the dining plan so we said O.K., we will pay for it. When he brought the bill, everything was covered. $140.00 Service was wonderful, food was great.
Crystal Palace for Dinner - The best Buffet for Food! The food was great...the Characters were not that great. Pooh seemed like he was in a bad mood. He went to hand my 7 year old back the autograph book. My son did not take it fast enough and Pooh dropped it on the floor. My dh noticed a manager looking over and my dh said something about Pooh not being in a good mood and then Pooh started jumping up and down trying to look happy. The other characters were great. The food was really good here and the waiter was very good. He brought us French Fries even though they were not part of the buffet. They looked like real potatos cut into fries. Overall had a good time.
50's Prime Time Cafe: Believe it or not I really liked the food. I know people complain about this place for the food but I had the pot roast and I thought it was really tasty. My dh had a serlion steak. Kids had chicken and fires. Desert was wonderful too. DH and I had a shake each. Kids had make your own sundae. My biggest complaint was that I wanted our waitress to play along with us and she hardly did anything. Over in the other room the waitress was so loud and playing with so many guests. I felt a little left out. I guess it all depends on who you get.
Cindys Royal Table: We had lunch at the castle on our last day. We did not see Cindy but we were all a little excited to be eating in the castle. We had a nice window seat so we could see into the park. The food was really delecious. We had salad, prime rib. The boys had chicken and fries (we are pretty much all picky eaters). I wanted desert but I and everyone else was too full.
The Dining Plan saved us so much money. These were just the table service meals. The counter service meals were great too and the snacks. The best advice I can give is plan ahead. My dh was so impressed with all the work I did planing the trip. We kept track how many meals we had left and they did not make any mistakes. This was the best.
Any questions...just ask.
Take Care and happy planing!

I'm really glad you enjoyed Le Cellier, it's one of our favorite restaurant.

We ate there for lunch. Hope this helps.
