I have never done this before but I found the other reviews to be so helpful I thought I would try to help.
We arrived at Pop on Nov. 4th, late morning. We used the Magical Express from the airport and found it to be a painfree experience. We were going to head for MGM but decided to share some lunch at Pop before we went.I should mention that we, dh and I, paid for the dining plan.
We split a Mediteranian Chicken Wrap/ Choc. Cake/ Diet Coke--$13.82
It was very good, and plenty to share if you just need a light lunch.

Dinner that night was at Mama Melrose- Tomato Bruschetta, Tomato and Mozz. salad, Linguine Fra Diavolo, Oak-fired chicken with pasta, Tiramisu, and Truffle Cake w/ raspberries. This meal was soooo good. We enjoyed everything. Service was excellent. $78.78 plus extra $5 tip.

Friday--breakfast at Pop, Western Omelet, toast, 2 coffees, oatmeal, $8.84, plus $3.39 oop for the extras. Again enough to share and quite good.
lunch--Tusker House-Smoked Turkey sand., cole slaw, Key lime Pie. Yuck, the bread was very dry, we split this because we weren't very hungry, good thing. We fed the birds. $13.84

Dinner- O'hana--I was so excited about this because we had never eaten here. The wontons w/ sauces were very good, as were the salad, shrimp and wings. We really enjoyed the potatoes(we asked for seconds) and the veggies. The meats were a bit disappointing, in that they were all very dry. The pork was really the least dry. The bread pudding was just amazing, soo yummy. $63.50, plus $5 extra tip

Sat. --Breakfast-Fountainview Expresso--Cinnamon Croissant, Choc. Croissant, 2 coffees, $9.97 oop. Very good, but service was VERY slow.

Lunch-Rose and Crown counter-2 Fish & Chips, 2 iced teas, 2 shorbread cookies. We waited a long time-45 min.--in line but it was worth the wait. The fish was very hot and very mild tasting. We found a place to sit by the lake--very nice and cool. $22.00.

Dinner-CRT-- my birthday. Wow I don't know where to begin. The place is just magical, just like I had imagined.
We had the Seafood Spring Roll, and Ceasar Salad to start, then 2 Filet Mignons, followed by Creme Brulee and Fantasy Choc. Cake and coffee. We both thought the fillets were the best we ever had, so tender and full of flavor. The service was very attentive but not too much. The only let down was that I had let a CM know on about 3 occasions that we would be celebrating my Birthday(actual day) and our 26th anniv.(The trip was our aniv. gift to each other), they made no mention of it at all. My husband actually talked to a CM after dinner and they brought me a cupcake and certificate. All in all it was still a great experience. $105.93, plus $5 tip oop.

back soon with Part 2

Thank you for sharing I enjoyed reading them.Your's are way better than mine. :goodvibes :wizard: :wave2:

Good reviews. :flower: Glad to hear that the food at POP is good. I also really enjoyed Mama Melrose's, I thought there flatbread was to die for.

Thanks everyone!
Here goes Part 2.
Sun. breakfast-Main St. Bakery--1 blueberry muffin, 1 cinnamon roll, 2 coffees, $10.83 oop. both were very fresh--yummy. I am like a big kid when I'm in the Magic Kingdom though, so I really didn't focus too much on breakfast--I just want to get into the park.

Lunch-late in the afternoon-back at Pop. 1 sun-dried tomato calzone, 1 chicken ceasar salad, 2 iced teas, 2 mickey rice-krispie treats. All very good. They had alot of meat-less options at Pop which made my husband very happy, we try to limit red meat if possible. $24.01

Dinner-Chefs de France--Wow!!! We had such a wonderful experience here, we will be back next year. The waiters were so attentive and patient with us, the language barrier was a small problem, we had a very French waiter. But, that was part of what made the meal so fun. We started with a goat cheese tart, and escargot. We had never had escargot before so the waiter helped us by telling us how to really enjoy them. Both app. were very good. Then we had Cod, stuffed with salmon and scallop mousse, then wrapped with potatoes and served with lobster sauce. I am drooling again just typing this,it was fabulous!!. Dessert was Creme Brulee and Choc. Mousse cake with ice cream, coffee. This was an amazing meal that we are still talking about. $100.00, plus $10.00 extra tip oop, the service was that good.

Monday- breakfast-at Pop--Vegetable Fritatta, grits, toast, 2 coffees.
A very nice fritatta, enough for 2. $3.34 oop for extras

Lunch--The Seasons food court in The Land--2 veggie Cubans, 2 iced teas, 2 chips, 2 brownies. $34.22 sandwiches were very good, made to order. The brownies were pre-packaged and not worth the calories.

Dinner-Concourse Steakhouse- We loved this place too. I thought it would be noisey because of Chef Mickey but it died down after a while and got very nice. We ordered 1 Lobster Bisque, 1 pan-seared scallops. My bisque was very tasty, my dh did not share his scallops--between the uuumms he said they were delish. He had the Penne Pasta with fresh spinach and grilled shrimp, he loved it. I had the New York Strip, it was very good, the mashed potatoes were terrific, and the red wine sauce was killer. We had butterfinger cheesecake and carrot cake for dessert. We ordered 2 drinks before dinner--24.00, included tip. dinner was $87.38, added $5 oop tip.

We found the dining plan to be very easy to use. Everywhere we went we told them up front that we were on the plan and they explained to us any exclusions. All in all we would purchase it again next year. It is alot of food, but we were able to enjoy places we might not have gone to otherwise. We did not encounter any lapses in service because of the plan. We had a very magical vacation and we can't wait until next year!
Deb

Thanks for sharing your reviews. We are also using the dining plan next Dec and plan to try Concourse Steakhouse for the first time. Sounds like a great place! :sunny:

Thanks for the reviews! Especially the one for the French restaurant - it left me drooling, what a fantastic sounding meal :flower:

Enjoyed reading your reviews ~ Thanx for posting.

Thanks for the great reviews. I'm glad you enjoyed the dining plan. We were lucky enough to get in on it for free in early October, and it was wonderful! We've chosen not to do it for our upcoming trip, but I would love to give it another try sometime.

Do you remember what was on the Mediterranean Chicken Wrap at Pop?

I learn so much from reading them.......it really helps plan my next magical WDW trip!
Thanks :flower:

I do it was a large tortilla, the chicken was seasoned with greek type seasonings(lemon, garlic) then they put onions and peppers(cooked), with sour cream type sauce. Very Good

Thanks for posting I love reading reviews :flower: I'm sorry you didn't like Tusker House. This is my favorite cs in all of WDW. I totally agree with your review on Chefs de France. We tried it for the first time recently and loved it.

Thanks again!

Terri

Thanks for the reviews. We love Chefs de France too, so I was happy to hear you had a great meal there. :)

Thanks for posting!

We are headed down to the Pop for the very first time in Jan. It seems that they have a nice menu....can't wait to taste it for myself.

This will be our 2nd time on the plan and although I agree about it being alot of food, I will TRY to be reasonable and stop when I'm full. Maybe give everything a little try and not try to eat all the meal everytime.

Let's see if I can actually put that in practice in January.....
