December 8th - Trails End - Dinner
After I had arrived and gotten set up, I went down to Trails End for dinner. The dinner had plenty of hot, delicious food and I sampled a bit of all of it. The soup was delicious and the chicken and pasta dishes were hot and fresh. A great dinner to start my vacation!
December 9th - Cape May Buffet - Breakfast
This was a great breakfast buffet with all of the traditional breakfast items. They didn't have an omelet chef standing out, but I asked my server and they said they will make omelets to order, so I ordered a ham, cheese, and mushroom omelet. What was brought to me was the biggest, prettiest, omelet I had ever seen! It was delicious!!! They also had Krispy Kreme donuts, (or a house donut that was very close!!) The characters were fun and I got pictures with all of them even though I was a solo adult.
December 9th - Chefs deFrance - Dinner
I watched the early Candlelight Processional from behind the theater (didn't want to spend a lot of time in line, and didn't feel the dinner packages were a good value), then went over to Chefs deFrance for a regular dinner. I had the Lobster Bisque Soup which was outstanding, then had the Vegetarian Lasagne. This was delicious and I didn't feel super bloated afterwards.
December 10th - Donald's Breakfastosaurus - Breakfast
This was your basic breakfast buffet. It was fun with the characters and the food was pretty good. Our server was also lots of fun. The big advantage of this breakfast is the early seating time to get towards the back of the park before opening. I was at the Safari entrance a good 5 minutes before the folks were let into the front gates
December 10th - Pizzafari - Lunch
I bought the Animal Kingdom Meal Deal and had the hot Italian Deli Sandwich with Chips and a large coke. This was pretty good and with the ice cream and bottled coke on my way out of the park, was a good deal.
December 10th - Fulton's Crab House - Dinner
This was beyond superb!! This was my best meal of the entire trip. I was seated upstairs overlooking the lake, and had the best server who took complete care of me. I had the Crab and Lobster Bisque Soup and then I had the Grilled Gulf Shrimp with rice and substituted their house vegetable medley for the asparagus. This was wonderful!! The shrimp were so huge that I felt I needed to cut them with a knife and eat pieces with a fork instead of picking them up and just eating them. The sauce was really good and the vegetables and rice were fresh and tasty. An outstanding meal!!!! I hadn't eaten there before because I was slightly upset that the place was no longer named after Lillian Disney and was run by an outside company, but I'm now glad that I finally stopped in. It was great!!!
To be Continued!!
