We did a short trip to WDW to see MVMCP and the Christmas decoration and to take my mother to see WDW. Here is where we ate and my reviews.

Dec 9th. Ate lunch at Tangierine Cafe. I like the food here very much (we also ate lunch here back in August, 2004). We had the lamb platter, lamb sandwich and the chicken wrap. All of the food was very good and tasty. The portions are quite large. The kids ate the chicken which (like all the chicken at WDW) was very good. For dinner, we ate in MK (we were at MVMCP). We had a PS at Tony's but after reviewing the bad comments on this site, decided to skip the restaurant. Ended up with hot dogs from Casey's which were very good. Also, ate some snack food from various places, all of which was good.

Dec 10th. We ate breakfast in our room (like to get to the parks early and not big breakfast eaters anyway). We had lunch at Sci-Fi drive in. Food was really good. My wife had the fish sandwich, my mother had a burger, I had the Reuben and the kids had hot dogs. I have read bad reviews of this restaurant, but both times we have visited the food has been good. We do keep it pretty basic (sandwiches) in terms of what we order, and I really love the environment. For dinner, we ate at Spoodles. Again, food was very good. Had a couple of flatbreads, the salmon, the paella and the strip steak. The kids had pizzas. The paella was pretty spicy (my wife did not like this but I did). We also had the dessert tray, which was very good. Overall a very good meal (this is the second time we ate here and it has been good both times).

Dec 11th. We ate breakfast in our room. Lunch was at the Garden Grill in Epcot. The food was very good and plentiful. This was the first time we had eaten here and we will definitely go back. The character interaction was great and the kids really enjoyed the 'spinning' restaurant. Dinner was at LeCellier. We had salads, the filet with the risotto, lobster tails (a 12.99 add on) and the creamed spinach. The kids had (you guessed in) chicken. The adult food was truly exceptional. We have now eaten here twice in five months and the food was really great. We will definitely go back. For dessert, I had the Canadian Club Cake and everyone else had the cheesecake. The cheesecake was only okay but the Canadian Club Cake is truly great. One rule - when it says 'house specialty'. order it. This cake was as good as I have ever had.

December 12th. We ate breakfast in our room. Lunch was at Tsuker House. I had previously avoided this restaurant since I did not think the food would be very good - it is hard to make good salmon in a fast food setting. Boy was I wrong. The salmon was great and so was the chicken sandwich. I will definitely go here again. Dinner was at BOMA, one of my favorite WDW restaurants. Since it was a Sunday, they did not have the flank steak (which I really enjoy). I was somewhat disappointed by some of the selections, but everything we had was very good. This was our fourth visit to BOMA and I will definitely be going back.

December 13th. We had breakfast at CP. On our last visits, our reservation was checked prior to entering the park. This time, anyone could have gotten into the park by going through the PS line without having a PS. We were seated quickly at CP, and the food was pretty good. It is hard to mess up breakfast food, but the dessert tray was not very good here. We are not big breakfast fans, and this seemed awfully expensive, even by WDW standards. Oh well, we usually do one breakfast per trip (PSB, CRT are the norm), and they all strike me as overpriced. Lunch was Casey's again (we had to leave for our flight right after the 3:00 parade) and this was very good as usual.

Overall, we had excellent service for all of our meals. The food at WDW has been consistently good, but I have avoided some restaurants that this visitors to this site say should be avoided (Tony's, for example, on this trip).

Any questions?

Thanks for the nice reviews. We were there at the same time, and we ate dinner at Spoodles on the same night, and I also had the Paella! (We were there 5:30-6:30). Someday, Somebody will like Tony's. We haven't eaten there either, also because of comments here.

Thanks for taking time to post your reviews.

We ate at Boma on our last visit & loved it. We too will definately go again.

happy Christmas from the UK

We did not have the salad. My understanding is that is only available at dinner.

Enjoyed your reviews.

Do you remember what the flatbreads were like at Spoodles?
