We are not on a dining plan, so I didn't keep up with our saving other than by using the DDE card we saved about $100 at 3 meals, so we've more than paid for the card already. Here's what we ate...

DH and I ate at Donald's Breakfastosaurus and thoroughly enjoyed it. We've read so much about people feeling rushed, but I think that's just how they do it there...they move all the characters through one room at a time, but the CMs made sure they all made it to each table before they left. The food was great. DH likes the hot bar type breakfast and I like the muffin, bready type breakfasts. This place has both! They had bacon, sausage, eggs, hashbrowns, hashbrowns with cheese and peppers, biscuits, coffee cake, Krispy Kreme doughnuts, muffins, fruit, cereal....yum yum yum. We really liked it...and Mickey kissed me twice. ;)

We met up with DH's parents, brother and sister-in-law for a late lunch/early dinner at Biergarten in Epcot. We've eaten there before, but the in-laws had not. Everyone enjoyed the food and entertainment. The buffet has so many choices, that even if you are picky you can find basic foods you will like. The rotisserie chicken was excellent...and you can't go here without eating the streudel with their vanilla sauce...mmmm...

Then of course, for Illuminations we had to get a Kringla from Norway's bakery...so yummy.

We ate at Studio Catering Co. in MGM today. Oh man, it was good! Most of us got the kid's meal, grilled chicken wrap. It came in an adorable mickey shaped tray with apples and caramel sauce, and a small drink. The chicken had excellent flavor, as did the sauce flavoring inside the wrap. We were going to take a picture of it, but we got it on the way to Lights, Motors, Action thinking we could eat inside....we were told we had to finish before we got inside, so we all had to gobble it down in line...so no picture or time for digestion. Crazy really, metal seats and outside...every other outdoor seating area in MGM allows food. Oh well...it was delicious. BIL got the lamb wrap and said his was great too. Excellent choice. And the apples were good in the heat as well! They had a dessert thing I wanted, something like honey and almond little wrap thing, and went back late to get it but it was closed. I guess this place closes with the rides around it.

For dinner we did the F! Dinner Package. DH and I did this once with H&V and were disappointed in the restaurant, but decided to give it another try. It was great this trip! We really enjoyed it...lots of meat and pasta choices. I actually ate almost an entire meal of salad and various pasta and potato salads. DH enjoyed their pork and steak a lot. BIL enjoyed the salmon. Everyone had something different and everyone enjoyed it. Plus the desserts here are really really good!

After F! I tried to go back to Studio Catering Co. as stated above, but no go. So we went to the 50's Prime Time over to Dad's Bar to get a PB&J milkshake to-go. I'd never had one and heard they were great. It took quite awhile, but they give you a HUGE milkshake! It was really good....tasted basically like a Sonic Peanut Butter milkshake, but with some actual peanut butter chunks in it at first. Really good.

Today DH and I ate at Teppanyaki in Japan at Epcot. We've never eaten at a hibachi grill and it was fun. We split the combo steak and chicken. DH I think wanted a little more food, but for me it was perfect to split it. And like everyone has posted on here before, no one blinked an eye that we wanted to share. The food was really good. DH is picky about his meat and usually eats as much sauce on it as there is meat...but he actually said the chicken and steak were better without the sauce...that was surprising to me! It was very good, and the ginger sauce was the best in my opinion. It was fun, and good, but probably one of the few disney restaurants we may not return to.

We went to MK tonight and ate at Harbour House. This is one of our favorites and DH was so excited to get his chicken fingers. We usually split the chicken fingers meal, but I didn't really want that, so I got the half sandwich and soup. I chose the starboard deck sandwich, which is a ham and cheese sandwich, but I asked for no slaw. The soup was a chowder and MIL ate that. She said it was really very good, not fishy at all. My sandwich was really good, and may end up being what I get there often instead of the chicken. The bread was an olive bread, which gave it a really good extra flavor. Great meal.

We also had some ice cream while waiting for the parade...mmm.

Our last day at WDW was spent at MK. It was a very hot day, so I was worried about food choices. We ate at Cosmic Ray's and I got a turkey bacon wrap with grapes. It was really very good, although it was more than I could eat. Very fresh and light which was good for the heat. DH, MIL and FIL all ate hot dogs, which I thought was going to ruin our tradition. (We always eat at Casey's Corner while waiting on the parades and fireworks on our trips.)

For dinner we ate at Casey's...I saw someone eating the corn dog nuggets and got excited that we could still eat there and they could all eat something other than a hot dog. So each couple got corn dog nuggets and fries and a brownie to share. While we were eating we got to see part of Cinderellabration from a distance, which was kinda fun. The food was great as usual.

For a snack during the first Spectro, we got a funnel cake and ice cream to split in Liberty Square. So yummy....

So as you can see, we ate very well on this trip...it was so great, disney sure knows how to cook. If you want anymore detail, just let me know.
