Hi everyone. I have a few short reviews to offer. I really learned from others before my trip.. so I wanted to share my 2 cents too. :) We did do the dining plan. We definitely got our money's worth. So much food! And honestly at home we may go out to eat 4 times per year due to cost of taking a family of 5 to a restaurant. So all these sit down meals were a real treat. WE never could have afforded the meals without the plan.
So here are a few thoughts on each place..

Breakfast Crystal Palace- 9:15 ADR
character breakfast with pooh, tigger, piglet. 1st it was awesome to get into the park through the breakfast reservation line. Also, my husband was able to run over and get fast passes for Runaway railroad which we used after breakfast. MY family really enjoyed this buffet meal. Our server was great. To me the food was just okay.. but I am very picky. The rest of the family including kids and seniors loved the food. I was surprised that my kids (boys ages 5&8) liked the characters so much.

Breakfast Kona cafe-
Our sever was great. Very pretty atmosphere. huge windows overlooking lush tropical vegetation. I had the thick french taost filled with bananas. Very good. Everyone else has the platter with eggs, bacon, potatoes, etc. Everyone really liked the food and then we took the monorial to MK. ( our ressie was for 7:40 and the place was empty, no wait. By 8:45 when we were leaving the place was packed with a huge line waiting to get in. Go early! )

best food of the week... was... SPOODLES at the boardwalk. The food was fantastic. So flavorful, we just oohed and ahhed at the meal. Also a cool getaway location to experience. Bad to get back to the hotel via the disney transportation at 10pm. (take a cab)

La Cellier- lunch
Everyone loved the atmospehe here. Server was great. Long waits for food though. WE arrived on time for a 1:30 ressie and did not leave until almost 3:30. mango smoothie was awesome. I got the prime rib but wish I would have gotten the larger steak. I loved the cheese soup, my husband hated it. The desserts were very good. I had the creme brulee. very nice meal.. 2nd best of the week.

Dinner at Ohana
ADR for 9:00. This was very late. I would not do the late dinners again. By the time we ate and got back to the hotel it was 11:30- MIDNIGHT. My family loved the food here. I thought the cheesy potatoes were awesome. The steak was raw. The pork and turkey were seasoned well, but rather tough. Now I am picky. All the men in the family loved this place. I thought it was nice, but not sure If I would return. The waiter was great. atmosphere very nice. kid friendly with the parade and hoola dancing.

I was pleasantly surprised with the food from the all star movies food court. Awesome made to order salads. The kids meals had great fries. Really I was so surprised by the quality of the food.

I'll try to add more later. thanks for reading!! jody

Sounds like you enjoyed some good meals.

Isn't the view at Kona pretty? I don't think enough people notice that.
