I thought I'd share my dining experiences as I really enjoyed and appreciated everyone else's reviews when I was planning our trip. I chose the restaurants based on tips from these boards.

08/29 Dinner - Whispering Canyon Cafe - I made this PS for our first night as I thought it would be fun for the kids. Unfortunately we were seated in a section that was completely separate from the main part of the restaurant. We could hear "the fun" but could not see anything at all. It made it hard to keep my DD6 and DD9 in their seats. On a positive note, our food was very good. DH,DS and myself enjoyed the All-You-Can-Eat Skillet of ribs, pork, chicken, sausage, corn-on-the-cob, mashed potatoes, gravy and baked beans. DD had the Child's Mac/Cheese with fresh fruit. We all drank Birch Beer (rootbeer). We would eat here again but it would not be my first choice. Cost was @ $62 plus tip.

08/30 Lunch - Sommerfest in Epcot (German counter service). DH, DS and myself all had Bratwurst with Saurkraut. There wasn't anything that interested picky DD so she had Apple Strudel with Vanilla Sauce. (Now there's a healthy lunch - oh well - we're on vacation!) We also ordered 4 cokes. Everything was good but the apple strudel was the best I have ever eaten. I would return for that strudel. Cost was $31.02.
It started to rain as we finished so DH ordered 2 shots of Dooley's for us to sip on until the rain passed. $12.25!!!

08/30 Dinner - Teppanyaki in Epcot (Japan) - All 4 of us, including picky DD thought that this was absolutely the best meal we ate over the entire week. DH had Nihon-Kai dinner - shrimp, scallops and lobster ($32.99). I had San-Kai dinner - lobster & steak ($34.99). DS had Child's shrimp dinner ($13.99) and DD had Child's chicken dinner ($13.99). The kid's had milk and lemonade. DH and I had frilly drinks @$6.50 each. We were seated with another family who were quite friendly. The kids were seated at the end of the grill (not so hot there). Our chef was so entertaining and was really good with the kids. They had never used chopsticks before so this was a real experience for them. As for the food, everything was cooked to perfection. My steak was amazing. We would definitely eat at this restaurant again. Cost $120.20 plus tip. Well worth it!!

08/31 Breakfast at CRT- Our PS (thanks to DU) was at 9am so we were able to enter the park before it opened. Today was DD's 7th b'day and DH's 39th b'day. DD wore her Cinderella costume and was so beautiful. The lobby was packed - we waited about 10 minutes to be seated. I told the CM about the 2 birthdays when I checked in. Our table had Mickey confetti on it when we were seated. Food was good - first we had some pastries and fresh fruit. Then they brought our plates. The kids enjoyed thier french toast sticks, eggs and bacon while we enjoyed bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs and stuffed french toast with blueberry sauce. None of us could finish our food. Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, Aurora and Mary Poppins all visited our table and made our birthday girl feel pretty special. After we finished both DH and DD got individual chocolated cakes with candles for their birthday. This was a great experience. We would do this again. Cost $63.86 plus tip.

08/31 Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. We had a 5:45pm PS. We were seated within 5 minutes. Again we had an excellent meal. The table was decorated with confetti and ribbon for the birthday pair. We enjoyed the turkey, the steak which was very tender ( not expecting this as I had read reviews that indicated that the steak was tough), the ham which was a favourite of DD and DH, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, buns and macaroni & cheese. For dessert we had Apple Cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Excellent!! We were visited by Minnie, Pluto, Chip & Dale and Meeko. Our waiter and a few others sang a birthday song for DH and DD. What a great birthday dinner! Would eat here again. Cost $68.12 plus tip.

09/02 Lunch - 50's Prime Time Cafe - We didn't have a PS here but decided to check to see how long the wait would be. Lucky us, we waited about 2 minutes (It was about a 30 minute wait when we were leaving - the park was not busy). I hate to sound like a broken record but once again we had a great meal. I had the Chicken Pot Pie - it was huge with big chunks of broccoli, carrots, mushrooms and tender chicken ($13.99). DH had a Poorboy Special - Clamstrips on a bun with some sort of sauce and fries. (@$13) - He loved it. DD had mac/cheese and DS had chicken nuggets and fries. We all shared a banana split. It was soooo good. The atmosphere was so much fun here. Our waitress Mom Carrie was really good. My DH had to get a hat pass to wear his hat, he had to set the table and he got into trouble for being a tattletale. The kids thought that this was great. Would eat here again. Cost $53.49 plus tip.

09/03 Lunch - Flame Tree Barbeque AK - We weren't very hungry so we just had fries with cheese (very good) DD had Child's Mini Hotdogs with chips and DS had Child's PB&J Sandwich with chips. We all had cokes/lemonades. Cost $18

09/03 - We had a PS at Boma for dinner but cancelled as we ended up having to pay to stay for 2 additional nights due to Frances. We had not budgeted for an extra 2 days of eating so we thought we had better save our money not knowing when we would be able to leave safely. I was really disappointed but we'll try Boma next time.

We stayed at Pop Century and ate breakfast in our room most days. We purchased refillable mugs ($52 for the 4 of us) and this was worth it for us. Here briefly are the things that we ate at Pop Century.
Double Cheeseburge & fries - good
Mom's Night Out Special - meatloaf - not so good
Meatball sub - good
Cheesesteak wrap and fries - good
Pizza - good
Pancakes with sausage & bacon -very good
Chicken strips and fries - very good

Anyways- I guess that's it. I hope this wasn't too long.

DH had a Poorboy Special - Clamstrips on a bun with some sort of sauce and fries.

A Clam Strip Po-Boy? I'm pretty sure that's a capitol offense here in New Orleans. Well, if anyone could pull it off it would be 50's Prime Time. They seem to have their kitchen together.

Thanks for the reviews! We have PS for several of the same places for our upcoming trip, glad to hear it was all good!
