Just back, 01/06-01/09. Below is a review of where we ate.
50's Prime time cafe- I had pot roast, excellent. My wife had the chicken pot pie, she said it was good but the veggies needed more cooking. It wasn't really filling for her either. Cousin Mickey did a good job, but had to tone down his act as our out of town cousins sitting next to us seemed annoyed and ready to lash out at him. They had eaten there numerous times they said. Why do people eat here if they don't like the servers act. We'll eat here again.
All Star Sports Cafe (in the lobby of the hotel, whatever the actual name is)- The service is absolutely horrible. We ate there in the evening twice and waited forever for the food in line. It actually took them a half hour to cook my daughter a hot dog, then it tasted horrible. The second night we tried again and I stood over Twenty minutes in line waiting for the burgers. They cook to order but please, have the burgers unthawed or some cooking on the grill. When you order, they put the frozen burger on the grill and start, and you wait in line until its finished. I appreciate it being fresh, but straight out of the freezer?
CRT- The food and character interaction was good. I personally liked the food much better at the Storybook breakfast, but my wife liked them both equally. There was pastries, fruit, eggs, cream cheese filled french toast, bacon, sausage, and potato casserole. There was also a granola and yogurt mix bowl which was good. I didn't think it was anything special, and other than the characters neither did my kids.
Princess Storybook Breakfast- Excellent food and characters. There were only four characters when we were there, Snow White, Jasmine, Belle, and Mulan, but they did a nice job. The food consisted of pastries, fruit, eggs, french toast sticks, sausage patties, bacon, and cheesy potatoes. I loved the cheesy potatoes. My kids ate more at the Storybook breakfast and liked it much better. I think i was spoiled after this one because the CRT was nothing special to me or the kids.
Garden Grill- Flank steak, turkey, catfish, mashed potatos, cornbread stuffing, macaroni and cheese, chicken fingers, french fries, pumpkin cheesecake worms and dirt for desert. Characters of Mickey, Pluto, Chip, and Dale in farm garb. Great character interaction, great food. Excellent service. This place is never busy when we are there and I don't know why. We left there stuffed and happy.
Liberty Tree Tavern Dinner- Smoked pork chop, turkey breast, flank steak, stuffing, mashed potatos, buns, salad, mac and cheese, and veggies. The food and service were excellent, although I think they could add something else to the menu for the kids. My wife and I loved the food, but they need to add something for the kids. My kids ate the turkey and steak, but there could have been some fries or basic vegetables for them. The veggies consisted of an onion, squash, carrots and whatever else mixed in a bowl. It returned untouched by any of us. We did love the food though and would eat there again.
Restaurantosausous- Animal Kingdom- They need to add to their menu. When we were there two years ago they had a turkey wrap which was gone from the menu. It was basic chicken, burgers, hot dog. There must be something about Disney hot dogs because my daughter had one and it was again awfull. The burgers were good and my other daugher got the Mcdonalds happy meal nuggets, but I wouldn't eat there again. The choices in Animal Kingdom are so limited.

P.S. We tried the famous Dole Whips also. We had the pineapple and vanilla mix. They were okay, but a little went a long ways for us. We probably wouldn't get one again.
