First of all, I wanted to say that the Dining Plan was well worth the money. We were even finding that now they are including as a snack whole boxes of Entemanns donuts! We found them at Old Key West and Artist Point at SS. Even the staff didn't understand it but as long as it it under $4.00 it was a snack. We used our snack credit a lot at the Boardwalk Bakery and used it for breakfast. Be creative and ask!

Whispering Canyon Cafe - this place was a lot of fun and my steak was very tender! The kids were able to have milkshakes as a drink and the apple desert was very good! It was very lively and the kids had a blast. I really thought the food was very good! We thought it was definetly worth the hike over there.

Royal Table Breakfast- This will not be an every year thing. It was worth it this time basically for the picture I was able to take but the food was okay. Nothing bad or great, just good. For the price you pay I wasn't jumping up and down with joy but I guess you are paying for the experience. My DH and DS ate at the Crystal Palace and DH thought it was a better breakfast than Chef Mickeys. They allowed all 5 of us to get in on the picture with Cinderella downstairs even though they did not eat there. The characters were good and we didn't feel rushed.

Crystal Palace - Dinner. We thought the food was pretty good but the kids didn't have a huge variety but they didn't care. It was good quality however we were not impressed with the dessert for the kids. It says "Make your own sundaes" for the kids but it was just ice cream with I think cookie crumbs and choc. chips? Again, my kids didn't care. We liked the atmosphere and for a buffet the food was good. The characters were good and spent a lot of time with the kids.

Chef Mickeys Breakfast - The line just to check in was 1/2 hour long. We had the characters come sometimes 2 times to us but missed others. The food was good, and it was a fun breakfast.

LeCellier - Dinner This was a great meal, with a TON of food for the 1 credit it required. Even the kids were able to order an appetizer off the adult menu so like I said, it was a ton of food! They were also able to order a smoothy as their drink. Our steak was good and the pretzel bread and cheese soup was fabulous. I tried the Maple Creme Brulee and it definetely was not my thing. Too sweet. My only complaint was from the time we arrived, and waited to be served, we were there 2 1/4 hours. So we did loose a lot of time at Epcot because by the time we got out most of the rides near Space Ship earth had closed at 7:00.

Park Fare - Dinner. This was by far our favorite Character Meal. The characters were great! Prince Charming and Cinderella! The kids were thrilled! The food was very very good and good quality for a buffet. It was a step up from Crystal Palace Buffet. The service was good with a minimal wait. This was a great meal for 1 credit!

Boma - Dinner. We loved the theming here and the chance to try different foods. Unfortunetly for me, I don't care for anything spicy so I wasn't digging a lot of the foods but DH really liked everything and enjoyed his dinner! Again, another bargain for 1 credit.

Hoop Dee Doo - the food was surprisingly good. The chicken was good and the ribs were okay but the whole experience was a lot of fun. We were the first table at the front and my son was in 6 got called up to be in the show. He looked like he was going to cry the whole time but he made it through. The show was fun but we will try something else next time. We used 2 credits for this one.

Thanks to all of you for all your help through these boards in helping to make the decisions on these meals and the directions to get there! Please let me know if you have any questions!

Thank you for the reviews. It still surprises me too that they include an entire box of donuts.

Would you mind letting me know specifically what you bought with your snack credits at Boardwalk Bakery? I'm trying to expand the list on the dining plan. TIA

They had each of the items individually tagged with the Dining Plan logo if it was included. The best buy was the Fruit tart. It was good and over $4.00 if you paid cash. There is one cheesecake with choc on the bottom and top that is included but the regular cheesecake was not. Cupcakes were included and they were good. The Breakfast sandwiches if I am remembering correctly was a Counter service and included coffee. It wasn't a good use of the credits but we had so many left at the end, we didn't care much. I would say 60-70% of the items were included and the rest were not. Hope that helps!

We also ate and used a CS at Wolfgang Pucks express and Earl of the Sandwich. The Sandwiches were good. It is a thick Sandwich on the kind of Bread that your jaw is sore when you are done but a good sandwich still. The value for your CS is not great, the sandwiches are only $5.00 but we went there because someone at Wolfgang Puck express told us that we could only have lunch as a CS, they were not accepting them for dinner. We went back a few days later and talked to the manager and she said that that was not true so we ate dinner there and used a CS. I had the Routissere chicken and my DH had a pasta dish. They were very good! The desserts are a cookie, brownie or cream brulee. We spent some time talking to the manager about the dining plan. She said that she rents the space from Disney at WPE and gets $8.00 reimbursement for the dining plan regardless of the item or how much it is. So someone could order something for $12.00 and Disney gives them $8.00. That is why they exclude the meatloaf and the Ravioli. We asked her if she looses money and she said that her sales went up something like 1/2 a million dollars last year because of the extra traffic from the dining plan.

Thanks for the review. We'll be doing a lot of the same places as you when we go in August.
