Day 3

Breakfast from Tubbies in Room

Krispie Kremes and Coffee mmmm mmmm

Almost $5 for 4 doughnuts

Lunch @ Coral Reef

We split the spicy crab meat salad

I had the shiitake mushroom steak and potatos and an ice tea

DH had the pan seared salmon and the recommended wine

For dessert DH had the choclate wave and I had the peanut butter playdough and coffee.

$76.53 + tip. This meal was delicious from start to finish!

Dinner @ Wilderness Lodge Whispering Canyon

I had the all you can eat skillet and a diet coke. This was not my favorite by far, everything was dry. Our server did mention everything is pre-cooked and we did not eat until around 9:00 that night so that could have a lot to do with it.

DH had 2 coors lights and the meatloaf and loved it. He also had the Walt's Favorite Apple Brown Betty.

We also both loved the salads with the apple vinagrette and the corn bread/bisquit basket.

The staff was also not doing any of their usual highjinks. Our server was very nice though.

$58 + Tip.

Day 4

Breakfast from Tubbies in Room

Krispie Kremes and Coffee

$5

Lunch @ 50's Prime Time Cafe

we split the fried boursin cheese. This comes with rasberry sauce and french bread. This was prob my fav food this trip

I had the ham and cheese Sandwich with fries and a vanilla coke...it was all good nothing fantastic

DH had the chicken noodle soup (loved it) and the chicken ceaser salad (did not like it) and a choc shake

We split the smores for dessert

$53 + Tip..Also this place seems to be less fun each time I go...our server was just okay with the antics, but very nice. I prob will skip this one the next fex trips.

Dinner @ Japan Tempura

This place was great...it was the only one DH picked the whole trip and it was a really neat dining experience.

DH had the steak and scallops and a Midoro
I had the the steak on chicken and a green ice tea
Neither one of us were crazy about the ginger salad dressing. the meal was delicious and our chef was super nice. I would def go back here. $63 + Tip

Day 5

Snack in Liberty Square

Hot caramel popcorn, I had never tried this there before and omg it was to die for when it was still warm. As it cooled it tasted like reqular store bought, but when it was warm and gooey, oh my. the best part it was free...the cash register broke LOL....Reg $3.99 and I would have paid every penny.

Lunch @ Sci FI Drive In

I had been here before but DH had not. He really liked it.

I had the reuben and fries, very good and very large, and a diet coke

DH had the make your own burger and fries along with another choc shake.

Total $34.62 plus tip.

Now I am up at 6:00 every morning walking it all off.

queenofhearts,

Coral Reef was not crowded for lunch at all. I had a noon PS and us and 4 other couples were about the only ones there. I am not sure if this would be the same during busier park times...Epcot and all of WDW was dead that day (9/10) and week

To give you an example we walked right onto test track, when the ride was over the cm asked us if we wanted to ride again wihtout getting off because no one was in line.

P.S. Don not make a special request for a table near a window, or you will find a very embarrasing fate, a I did!

Leigh- You've peaked my interest! What happened when you requested a special seat next to the window?

queenofhearts,

I sent you a pm. I do not want to spoil it for others who do not want to know.

You've peaked mine too...what in the world happened??

'Cause you KNOW I would have asked also! :jester: (looking like a fool, I suppose)
