I never really worried about getting ressies at DL like I do when we go to DW but after seeing what happened with DW when we went I am wanting to book right at the 60 days when my dates come up. My question is do they come available at midnight or 7 a.m.? I honestly can't remember. I know how to do it for DW (which usually requires getting up in the middle of the night :/ ) but I never used to worry with DL but I don't want to miss out.

TIA

Neither. I'm at my 60 day window now so have been getting ressies the last few days. When I get up around 6:30 they are already available so I assumed it was midnight. My cat got me up at 12:30 last night, so as long as I was up I checked the reservations at 12:45 and they weren't live yet. They were available by 6:45 though.

I'm in California so all times I used were DL times.

Also, beyond mid-June you can only make reservations for Lamplight in DCA; Cafe Orleans and River Belle in DL and a handful of Downtown Disney places, Naples, La Brea, Tortilla Jo's, Uva, Ralph Brennan. The in park locations go quickly.

I've been trying to figure this out! I read that reservations were booking fast, but I just started planning our trip for mid-July, so I haven't been able to track and watch what happens with dining reservations on previous days. Now, I am at 61 days out from arrival and want to book a dining reservation for our first evening (which will be a non-park day after a long day of driving from Northern California). I know Napa Rose is supposed to open at the end of this month, so I'm hoping to make reservations there for our first evening. Then, Monday morning, I'm hoping to book BB or Carthay for July 16th. When I was looking at availability for 60 days from today (July 14th) the only dining option that shows up at all is River Belle, so I was wondering if the others booked up already very quickly this morning or that's the only option that's been uploaded on Disney's side.

I've been trying to make reservations for the same dates. I've been at it from middle of the night onward and have only seen Cafe Orleans and River Belle Terrace offering reservations. Even the DTD restaurants have not shown availability. My thought is that they might be saving availability for "day of" reservations. They do this sometimes at WDW because people are so disappointed who arrive at the park and have no place to eat.

This is just a guess. They might open up some new ones between now and then. Maybe on the 18th when Napa and others open up? Anyhow, I just wanted to share my experience because I've really been on it. I don't think they are all booked up. I'm gonna keep checking.
