dining reservations

I have a little problem.. I am still trying to call and get it corrected...

What would you do?

I have a CRT reservation for 2. me and a child. Now my husband can go that morning... do you think they will go on and let him eat with us or send him away??

I hope he can stay with us.. I just don't know what to do..

I would pick up the phone right away and add him to your reservation just to be on the safe side. I doubt they would turn him away, but you are going from a 2 topper table to a 4, so that makes a difference to them in scheduling. You may have to wait longer if you don't call.

You can't add people to an existing reservation (ADR) you would have to cancel and rebook IF a table for three is available. I had this same problem at Cindy's Gala in 1900 Park Faire. I was just going to cancel, because I couldn't get an ADR for three. I decided to stop by and talk to the podium people the night before we were to dine there and see if there was anything they could do. The restuarant manager just happened to be standing there and he said "do worry, just show up tomorrow and say you have three instead of two" I was still a little worried, but it worked out just fine.

I also have a friend who had ADR for CRT lunch for 5. Because of a number of issues they showed up 40 mins late with 7 people and were still seated, they waited about 15 mins. So I'd just go, take your husband and tell them at check in that you have three.

Does CRT work like PSB where they sit everyone at one time? We did PSB a year ago and everyone within our time frame was seated at the same time. Is CRT the same or is it like Chef Mickey's or CP?

When we were there in May, to my suprise, everyone walked in as a group holding their seating slip. The servers were all lined up in the entry way to the tables. You handed your slip to one and were seated.
This was very different, but we were seated quickly.
