Dining Reservations

We will be at IOA/US next week and are staying at the Hard Rock Hotel. I know we want to eat at NBA city the first night we are there but they don't take reservations. Other than that I haven't made any dining reservations since I don't really know where and when we want to eat daily.

Since we are staying on site, do we get priority for restaurants at the parks and at City Walk? I know we won't be able to just walk in and get seated but will we be able to at least not wait at long?

I guess what I'm really asking is am I foolish to just play it by ear or should I be making priority seating plans now?

You will be there at a quiet time. In all my trips, off season and peak, I have only made reservations for 2 restaurants. Tchoup Chop and Mama Dellas. We always play it by ear. We really hate being tied to a reservation not knowing what fun we may be having at the moment that has to be disrupted. Sometimes we snack late and just arent hungry yet. With your room key you will be set at most CW restaurants! Not to worry! Have a terrific trip
