Does anyone know what time of day you can make reservations online for a specific day? I know that it is 60 days out but I do not know what time of day they become available online. I know Disney World is available at 6 AM eastern time. Thank you

Watching this to see if there's a specific time online.
I know this isn't the same in terms of difficulty to get reservations like at WDW, but I can make a dining reservation tomorrow then the following days so I'm curious as well!

Dining reservations at DL are not as hard to get as WDW and sometimes they are not even loaded into the system at exactly 60 days out.

The call center opens at 8:am Disneyland time (714) 781-3463. You can try the online reservation system at 6am Disneyland time. I agree with Aladora in that it is easier to make reservations at the Disneyland Resort than at WDW.

Online they become available at 3:00 am Pacific time. Like others say, they don't book up like they do at WDW.

Things definitely don't book up like at WDW so not a huge rush. If there's something you know you want for sure, book it so you have it but you should have no issues getting what you want! Some restaurants like BB are popular and may fill so that would be one you'd want an ADR for if you're wanting to eat there.

The hardest ADR for DL is Blue Bayou and even that you can usually snag a cancellation at the last minute. Also at holiday time it can be a little more critical. But really it is nothing like WDW for ADRs.

Really, we always book same day, but we won't do Blue Bayou, the food is bad and the service is horrendous (putting it mildly, I had to ask a manager to refill my drink after waiting 30 minutes for any server to come anywhere near the table to ask for a refill, they never did show up. Really I am not pick, but I shouldn't have to wait 30 minutes to even see a server to ask for a refill). Too much money for a bad meal like that, we did speak to the manager and got the price brought down, but still.

We also aren't pick about exact time, we check when we figure out what we want and we are flexible enough to change location if need be.

I agree my draw is really not for the food. It more about the experience for our family. We love the fact that we are in the POTC area watching the boats go by. But again that makes it important that you get seated by the railing. So it is one of those that you really need to be flexible and understand that not all things can always be in our control. It's not something I do every trip. But it's something I think everybody should do at lease once. But not for the food, although I do enjoy the Monte Cristo and a Mint Julep.

They no longer have the Monte Cristo at Blue Bayou, only at Cafe Orleans. Both have Mint Juleps though.

Really the atmosphere isn't enough to make up for the food and bad service at that price.

Opinions vary. That's OK. It makes the world go around. To me it is.

And this is why there are so many restaurants to choose from. Personally, I don't care for BB. And totally agree with you. BUT, there are plenty of people who think it is the best. I'd prefer Cafe Orleans or French Market.

It is why there is Napa Rose. So many love it. For me, I prefer Steakhouse hands down over Napa. But that is my opinion.

As for making ADRs, they open at 6am. But, you won't even know if they are loaded as sometimes it takes a few extra days if they don't know park hours. I usually make mine a week or two in advance. (Christmas week is an exception, I do those 30-45 days out.) As an example, we will be down next weekend. I haven't made any yet. Thinking we may want a Carthay for lunch either Fri or Sat. Will decide.
