Dining Reservations

I've been off the boards for a bit now, you know with the holidays, birthdays etc, So ... I called WDW this morning to confirm my free dining pkg for September.. at the same time I asked the CM to confirm the 6 months date in which i am able to start booking my dining reservation prior to our arrival.

The CM told me... you have to wait 3 months prior to your trip to book your dining reservations.. IS THIS TRUE?

I can only make my dining reservations 3 months before my arrival date, or can i still make my reservations 6 months before? Please let me know.

this is posted at the top of the boards. I just made my reservations for my april trip. I know it is confusing if a person is used to going once a year and doing dining at the same time of a regular reservation.......Hope that this helps..

The CM was correct. The reservation window has been shortened to 90 days. This happened sometime last month.

Thanks everyone... I'll have to read that thread. Thanks i didn't even notice.... although i don't know how i feel about only 90 days. Does anyone find it harder to make a reservation?

there is a dining calculator at the top of that post too......put in your time frame and the date that comes out is when you have to put in your reservations RIGHT AWAY......especially because of that free dining......Last September we made a last minute trip and was only able to get one TS .....we didnt have free dining ...but we stil were able to eat meals at the resorts and at some of the food courts....

It's 90 days for everyone so it's not any more difficult or easier than at 180 days. Everyone is still playing on the same field.
