Dining Reservations

Hi There,

I've made multiple calls for dining reservations but there is only an answering machine to take messages for dining reservations. I leave my requests and information with a request to call back to confirm, but I never receive a return call.

Is there any other number to call to speak with a real person and make confirmed reservations? Four messages left over the last ten days with no return call.... really poor customer service. What's up with that?

Thanks, I actually spoke to a live person who tried to help me get reservations...unfortunately both restaurants I inquired about were completely full for Aug 21 and 22.....(Mythos and Consciccos)


And Finnegans is completely closed and will be all month...

What is going on at Universal those dates that the restaurants are completely filled? I thought you weren't even able to makes ressies until two weeks prior?

Also, Do the restaurants take walk ups even when full? We will be staying onsite at the HRH...Does that help in any way?

it is 30 days ahead you can reserve. Sorry

I'd keep trying, and on the day of you can always go at an off time and see if they have any availability. Some people don't show up for their adrs.

Universals advanced dining reservation system is a joke at best. WE have yet been able to get our reservations in order ! It always seems like the restaurant doesnt have them, even if they are made ????
Last week, I made reservations for Mythos in the AM with the HRH concierge desk for that same day for lunch. Concierge could not reach them right away.....and said they would call them later for us and call my cell to confirm. Got a call approx 11:30am that our reservations were confirmed for 12:30 for lunch. Checked in at Mythos for lunch, and they had no idea of any reservations made that day !!! Always seems to be a problem at most Universal/Citywalk restaurants!!!
At least its not a huge problem at Universal...........dont plan anything for meals, and you will be fine. Since most places are not to great with the reservation thing, you can eat, almost anywhere you want with minimal wait times...........except Emerils and possibly Margartiville on busy nights.
I did notice that many of the restaraunts are getting MUCH better when it comes to the "room card" privledges for next avaiable seating !!! Just flash your room card (on site),when you show up to eat..........you should be able to get seated much quicker!
Just wing it...........and it will all work out at Universal. Not like WDW........if you dont make ADR's , you wont be eating !!!!

Thanks for the honesty....I thought the whole thing was a mess....When I finally did speak with a person he was 60 feet from the roller coaster and couldn't hear a word I was saying each time a coaster passed by. He was nice and helpful...but completely confused...

Does the room key thing work at all restaurants in the parks, hotels and city walk?
