Hi

DH and I have been discussing what times we will book our meals for for our upcoming trip to DLP; 11th-15th September.

We want to eat at Cafe Mickey twice and then eat at Annettes, Agrabah cafe and do the Sunday Brunch for Inventions on our last day.

We prefer to eat in the evening but was wondering whether we will have time to eat at Cafe Mickey after the main parade and before Dreams or if this is a time to avoid?? Anyone know what time Dreams and the Parade were on last September??

Obviously we will eat at the Agrabah Cafe at lunch time so any recommendations for the best time gratefully received as this is a new dining experience for us.

Also what time is best to book our Sunday Brunch??

Thanks:thumbsup2

When I went last September, the parade was on at 5, Dreams at 9. We ate between the two at Rainforest Café and weren't pushed for time.

Thank you so much!:thumbsup2

Saying that, though, on that particular night the parade was almost an hour late! Luckily Rainforest don't do reservations so we were okay :)

Oh my! That is late!:confused3 We've never eaten in Rainforest Cafe; thought about it lots; but seen such mixed reviews.

I think we may do Annette's the first night as they don't do reservations either and we have to sort out our Annual Pass too and from what I've read it seems to vary the amount of time this takes.

Good plan :) Rainforest Café was nice but nothing special, I think the main thing about it is the atmosphere which wasn't so good because it wasn't busy. I've always wanted to try Annette's!

Annettes is our favourite - it is the one restaurant that DH and I insist on eating at every trip. I'm not quite sure what they do to the food that is so yummy and last trip we tried the King Elvis Banana Split between us that is making my mouth water at just the mention!

We were there in September and Dreams was on at 11pm (Saturday 15th).

(Quick tip, you can't reserve Annettes).

Yes think we may do Annettes the first night as we have to sort our annual passes on the first day so not sure what time we will want to eat; so just being able to turn up without a reservation will be a bonus for that night.

Was there plenty of time in between the parade and dreams to eat in the Village or was it extra busy?? Thanks:thumbsup2

Not sure tgat it helped we were there on a Saturday, but it was so super busy we couldn't move at some points and as soon as the parade had finished people started gathering for Dreams! It was really hot too - about 25c so that probably didn't help. I'd possibly plan a meal after the main parade as it will be busy ride wise so maybe wise to eat then, but maybe in the park? See how it goes after the first night then maybe see how crowd levels are. Possibly eat at the hotel then hit the park in the evening for your first night?

The one meal we were planning on eating at in the Park was Agrabah - never been there before so will have to do some investigating to see if it opens early evening before park shuts???
