Hello all! I'm going to Disney World for my honeymoon this coming April. Everyone that I speak to suggests that I make sure I let them know it's my honeymoon so my future wife and I have chances to get a little bit of extra magic.

What exactly is the best way to do this? Do we need to make our dining reservations over the phone and ask the person to note that it's our honeymoon on each reservation? Or do we just call and have it noted on our overall account that it's our honeymoon and it will be seen by everyone?

Thanks in advance!

Go online and book your reservations the second you are able to! You have plenty of time to add special requests. Just get those ressies!

We are making our dining reservations online. My question is, how do you get them to note that it's your honeymoon for the dining reservations? I know I can call up Disney and have them make a note on our overall account like for the resort reservation. But does doing that also make notes on all your dining reservations? Or does something else need to be done for our honeymoon to be noted on our dining reservations?

I know my sister called the reservation line and told them about my niece's birthday and they said they would make a note on the reservation. By the way....congrats! You will have a fabulous honeymoon!!!

There is a spot at the end of of the online reservation request that allows for special notes if memory serves... We did this regarding some dietary restrictions that were quite detailed and we know they read the notes... so I would put it there!

When I called to add a birthday celebration, I gave them the confirmation number of a specific meal to have it added. The CM then asked if I'd like to have that info added to all my dining reservations for the duration of our trip. So I'd say calling after you've booked online is probably a good way to go!

When you book online there is a special requests section. However it only brings you to a page with check boxes for dietary requests and wheelchair accessibility. Nothing about other requests or no text box to write anything in.

Oh ok great. I'll do that then! Thank you!

Congratulations! When I called to book an illuminations cruise the CM asked if we were celebrating and then added our honeymoon celebration to all of our reservations.

Hope you have a wonderful time! :sunny:

Congratulations! pixiedust:

You will need to call the dining line to add any celebrations, but when you get to the restaurant mention it to your server as well. Also, wear your celebration buttons and maybe MM bride and groom ears. You will receive plenty of "Congratulations!" from castmembers, but anything beyond that is not guaranteed.

At some restaurants our special events have been acknowledged with complimentary desserts, glasses of champagne, confetti on the table, a card, while at others there has been no acknowledgement at all. It will depend on the restaurant, server, how busy they are, what they want to do. With so many people at DW celebrating a birthday, anniversary, engagement, wedding, honeymoon, family reunion, life changing event, it is not possible to recognize every one so it is best not to expect anything and be pleasantly pleased when it is.
