Dining reservations during christmas week.

How hard is it to actually get the dining reservations you want during the week after christmas and before new years. I have been looking at single days just to get an idea and so far the days open in december don't have anything I am hoping to get. Any advice would be great.

You get up early on the first day you can make the reservations and go from there. Also don't go into it thinking I must eat at CRT at exactly 12:00 PM on Thursday. Have some flexibility. Make a list of which reservations you want first and the days you want to try to get them. But be flexible if the only CRT table time you can get is at 2:30 for example. I "see" a lot of people complaining they can't get what they want and part of the problem is that they are being a little two specific with what they want - like I only eat lunch at 11:30.

Try and put harder to get reservations at the end of your trip. Definitely get on exactly when your window opens. If you can't get what you want, sign up for a reservation finder those really help. And just keep checking back until your trip. People cancel all the time. I've had great luck in the middle of the night getting really hard to get things for some reason. If you have more than one MDE account you can have two people going for reservations to try and cut down on time as well.
