Dining reservations at 180 plus days??

Hey! I have a reservation for a FD trip starting November 21. I put that in the 180 day calculator and it says I can start making reservations on May 25. But what is the rule about the plus 10 days for ressies when staying on site? I always get confused on that! When can I really start making reservations?? On MDE, it is not letting me access it either.

The +10 rule means that you can make reservations for 10 days after your check in day. So if you check in on 11/21, you can make reservations for 10 days after that. They do that so that people can make dining reservations for their entire resort stay! HTH's!

Ok! Perfect! I don't know why I had it in my head that it meant 10 days early. I guess in a way it does though! Thanks for the info! Now I know what date to wait for! ;0

My understanding is that on May 25th you will be able to make ADRS for 11/21 through and including 12/1. That's 180 days + another 10. Hopefully I am correct about that!

Thanks for asking that question, I wondered about what that meant too. If I book a bounceback offer for another trip, it will be during a free dining time, so I may need to make a few ADRs earlier than I usually do!

In a perfect world you would be able to do it online, but there have been so many glitches that you can try online first and if that doesn't work you'll have to call.

In the past we were able to make the arrival day + the next 10 days for a total of 11 days online, but for our upcoming trip we had to call and the CM was able to make the arrival day + the next 9 days for a total of 10 days.
